Yeah should be possible. I've always said that (with no science to back it up) one of the things that makes the air fryer different cooking wise from say a conventional oven is the more compact size, theres only so much space for the air the wizz around, which i believe helps things from drying out. I could be completely wrong, but it's the opinion i'm sticking with. These dual ones i think are about 4L per basket and i've often wondered how the massive air fryers people have that look like an actual oven compare. How do you get on with the 2L?
Hi Leigh... As Roast Gammon is my preferred choice of meat... I usually take a look on here from time to time... And watch different versions of how others cook their own Gammon Joints... When my late mother was alive... She used to make her version as a Mustard Glazed Gammon Joint... As we both disliked mixing together sweet with savoury... So we never had Honey or Marmalade glazes on ours... And it always seemed to turn out so succulent and delicious too mate... But mum also had a Red Andrew James Electric Meat Slicer... And it allowed us to alter the thickness of the meat slices very easily. 🍖😋👌 We were planning on buying a Food Vacuum Sealer Machine... So that we could package our own Gammon Slices... Rather than buying the much more expensive prepackaged chilled supermarket Ham products... And lets face it... Very few of them these days... Will hardly have any taste to them at all.. The only prepackaged Ham i will buy in-store from a supermarket these days... Is the French Torchon Ham... Now that Ham is incredibly tasty my friend... If you've never tried it before yourself... I can highly recommend it Leigh... As it tastes absolutely incredible pal... Many thanks my friend... All the best... Cheers mate. 🍺
I've considered getting a vacuum seal machine a few times. Never been able to decide if id use it enough though. But yeah most sliced ham is fairly bland which is why often i get ones that are smoked, usually have a bit more flavour.
@@letscookwithleigh My sister had the exact same thoughts before she bought hers Leigh... And she didn't know how much she would use it... But now... She wonders how she ever managed without it... And she only bought herself a cheap version of the vacuum seal machine... And it works incredibly well... It's pretty quick at vacuum sealing... And has a built in cutter to trim the excess plastic off of each bag... So that it's all nice and neatly trimmed... Once it's sealed the bag... She simply opens the vacuum sealer... Moves it down about a centimeter to where the cutter is... And by closing the lid of the sealer again... It neatly cuts and trims the sealed plastic bag ready for storage... Plus you can buy lots of different sized bags from small to large... And you can buy large rolls of various sizes from well known online buying sites like "A m a z o n"... The most you'll pay on average... Is anywhere between £10 - £20 depending on the size and length of the rolls that are required. They're all BFA Free... Cook Safe... Freezable Safe... Microwave Safe... Universal Design... Boilable & Great for Sous Vide Use... Airtight and Anti Freezer Burn Safe... O2frepak Food Saver Bags Rolls Help Food Lock Freshness, Flavor and Nutrition inside... And if you're interested in saving money on prepackaged sliced meats from a supermarket... It's incredibly easy to buy small Joints of Gammon... Beef... Pork Shoulder... Stuffed Breast of Lamb... Whenever you have a Roast Sunday Lunch or a Midweek Roast Dinner... And vacuum pack any leftovers to avoid paying through the nose for prepacked Sliced Meats... You can literally vacuum pack anything you like... Vegetables... Fruit... Fish... Meat... Poultry... Cheeses... etc... You can buy the following vacuum sealer machine for only £24.68 on "A m a z o n"... It's the... ("Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer, Fast-Compact Vacuum Sealer Machine")... Have a look on there for the vacuum sealer bag rolls too Leigh... Take care buddy... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺
Great result Leigh. I only have a 2Ltr air fryer so may have cut the joint in half first and reduce the cooking time - but possible 👍

Anything you can cook in an oven, you can cook in an air fryer (as long as it fits). An air frier is just a mini conventional oven.
