Being fair to the critique: Amarius Mims was the biggest gamble in the whole draft. His total time played was like 8 games.
I think he pays off, he's built like a tank. But he was a gamble in longevity.

Not really a comment on anything important here, but I think the main reason Manning has bought in to the Broncos so much is because he sees them as the team that gave him a chance to show he was still Peyton "F'in" Manning. I can only guess he felt slighted by the Colts saying "You're done, you won't be as good, we are going to suck enough to get Andrew Luck and won't need you"...Then Peyton goes off and has 4 straight playoff seasons, 2 Superbowl appearences (possibly 3 if Raheem Moore wasn't booty cheeks), a 2nd Superbowl win and yet another MVP award. I'd feel a bit negative towards the Colts if I was him too, he turned the franchise around...helped them build the new stadium, won them a Superbowl and turned them into a fixture of the AFC Playoffs....only to be dropped at the first sign of a QB who could be "generational". Also if the Chiefs 3peat.....they will be the most hated team in the NFL no question....

If you got the falcons on there in that wheat division you got to have the Chicago bears on there top 5 10 defense best receiving core in NFL. They're definitely a wild card team at least

The Bengals passed it over 70% of the time in first 5 games. Over the first 5 games they ranked 32nd and 31st in yards and points scored. Way to pass heavy. No O-line can hold up when you pass it that much and defense can tee off. No way to tell when Burrow is not 100%, but bottom is bottom. Adding Brown is a cheap signing and Mimms is insurance but they need to run it to get some sort of balance to 1 protect Burrow from extra hits and 2 to keep the defense guessing. Bengals also lost Boyd and mixon and on Defense lost Awizie and DJ Reader. With reader top 10 rush defense without bottom 10... They play in a division with Chubb and Henry now. I do love Burrow, but he has only won the division when Lamar is hurt. Lamar is 4-1 against Burrow in career. Browns also own Burrow for some reason. Thier best years they went 3-3 in division with Ravens falling apart after Lamar injury. Bengals are a solid team but AFC got so much better last season. Defense is what got them to that SB run and the offense let them down to end their playoff runs. Getting shut out in 4th quarter of a SB and getting 0 points in back to back drives in a tie game in arrowhead. That comeback in Arrowhead was totally defense driven. Especially when the defense forced a Pick in OT to win the game when if you score a TD you lose in the old rules. Bengals went 5-0 against NFC last year and 4-8 in AFC... Higgins and Hendrickson want long term deal and if they start out flat they will most likely have to deal by deadline. If Lamar and Burrow stay healthy this will be the year that decides who is the real king of the North, but the Browns and Steelers are good too. When Bengals won games it started with the defense and the offense complemented the play, but it is built the other way around. Texans, Chiefs and Ravens are at the top in AFC for sure. Not High on the paper tiger Dolphins. Run it up against the ok to bad teams and cant win against a good team at all. Love this.

It’s 100% a brain dead take. You could take every AFC team excluding the Chiefs and combine their playoff wins since Burrow has been in the league and it still wouldn’t equal the Bengals playoff wins during that span. Bengals have the 2nd best playoff win percentage in the AFC since 2021.

I think it's just because his divorce was pretty public. If gronk went up there and made fun of Tom's grandparents dying messing him up it would really just be to hurt instead of making jokes at someone expense. Context matters it isn't really black or white.
