I just love the Inboard Fog light version of the 67s!
Wow what a beaut! Crazy how this car is like 54 years old now, the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 is one of my ultimate classic dream car.
Love the cold start! Thanks for including it please do that every time!
Absolutely the best 67 GT500. I have ever seen. I like my cars all original. But Man! This is something you could drive. Not a Trailer Queen. Please bring it by my house and let me drive it. Just once! Shawn.
Jim Morrison had a 67 GT500 but in blue,,this vehicle needs finding,,,this upload just made me think of it,,btw, stunning originality here love it
I am the Lizard King!
Jimbo's car Shelby Vin # 67402F2U00939 / Plate # VRD 389 California / shipped to University Ford Champaign Ill / reshipped to Stockton Quincy Ford Westwood Ca. you wont find this car using the Shelby Vin as it was demolished by front end collision / the car did survive Jim's driving as it was last documented for sale in Oct 1971, find the Ford VIN and you will find the car. Happy Hunting!
So perfect. Just a dream.
A piece of art ✨🎉
Very very nice Shelby, love the original green paint. Looks like somebody at some point installed the side marker lights, as I believe they were not available until the '68 model year.
He specifically said this in the video. The lady said "They were there when she got the car, because Colorado requires them.."
@@jeremiahsawyer2123 Yes that's correct, I originally made the statement before viewing the entire video...my mistake. I also wasn't aware of a state requiring you "alter" the originality of a classic car for safety or compliance...i.e. the car didnt come with abs brakes, airbags, backup camera, or catalytic converter either, are those required too by the state? Hmmm, just a question. Thanks.
Yeah, those aren’t even ‘68 marker lights. Those are some NAPA specials. They should be removed, welded up and touched in. Same with the damaged carpet. And buff out those decal marks.
Bravo my friend! You will not regret buying this Shelby mustang. Always liked the " inboards " light's vs the later " outboard" lights .
There is nothing like an unrestored, original honest car! One sweet ride 😎
If you have a car like this, drive it, enjoy it. My GT500 is only a 2013 but it has been enjoying the German autobahns for the past 6 years. The only time I don't drive it is in rain and snow, too much power and the salting of the roads in winter. July 2023 we will be moving back to the US, FL this time. My wife would divorce me in a heartbeat if I bought a '67. I'm perfectly happy with my '13 and it was the last year with a stick and it was the last year Mr. Shelby had a hand in designing.
Love it in the condition it’s in. All one needs to do is drive it and enjoy it. Exceptional find!!
Wow! So a woman owned this? This must've been the girl I shoulda married.....
Exceptional Shelby. Not many around this original.
I'll bet if you turned on the radio you'd have to wait for a Credence song to finish and then hear an update on Vietnam casualties.
I'd have to do a full restore on this beautiful GT
The 1997 SAAC Registry says this about the car
"1847. GT500. Completed 4/26/67 and shipped 5/11/67 to Rosen Novak (Denver, CO); arrived with hole in fiberglass hood. Present owner not known"
It's amazing people are still finding the hidden gems! It's a shame someone added the extra 2 rear hood hold downs & the 4 side marker lights! It may be true about Colorado law, but it seems like if the car was made before the law went into effect in '68,they couldn't force you to install them! Nevertheless, this car is in stunning condition for it's age!❤
Does CO require side lights on all vintage cars? Highly doubtful. My brother lives in CO and he has a '57 Ford truck and it doesn't have side lights.
registry explains the holes in the hood were there when the car was shipped to the dealer on 5/11/67
Bro you're awesome. How are you finding these beautiful Mustangs??? I especially love the black 68 Shelby
I had a chance to buy one in 1971 for $1200. Unfortunately I was in college at the time and could not come up with the money. But it was sweet to drive. An older friend who worked for the local Ford dealer bought it.
Only original once! Bet there's some very rich people that would pay a fortune for that Shelby.
My dream car. This is the one I'd take before all the others. 😳😲🤯
Edit: Ridiculous condition too. Unreal.
Wow that is truly beautiful all original!! unbelievable find… i bet ya somebody out there would offer you 250k for that bad boy.
What I love about this car wit was never beaten on and abused. This woman sure saved it from being crashed or the engine blowing up from over revving
im in love with that car!!
• breathless
you are right
the car speaks for itself
never seen anything like it
you are a most blessed man❗️
🥂
🪖
I'd drive it as is, I imagine the price is too high for me. I've chased Shelby's for years but the price always climbs just out of reach with each passing year
how did you find it and what did you pay
Unbelievably awesome!!!🤑🤑🤤🤤
Lets see a new car start and run after this time period with just some work.
That’s really cool
Yeah there was no need to say All Original 100 times over in 15 min
Beautiful……
Don’t be a hater. One of the most original Shelby’s in existence. It deserves to be reiterated and the buyer appreciated it. Bought it off the video.
Awesome!
Lucky Lucky Lucky! My dream car.
Are those original running lights that were never on any 1967 U.S. car ????????
This is a great car take care of it ❤
Amazing and awesome 🍻👍
I don't like Mustangs but that car is the perfect driver.
Big Money!!
Awesome
I grew up in an identical car. Only differences are 1) the extra hood pins, 2) the side marker lights, 3) the exhaust valence cutouts on mine were hand cut and round. Does it have rear brake cooling in the lower scoops?
Beautiful!
I womder what happened to the original batterys that came in these shelbys ever seen one?
Beautiful Shelby, can I have a link please to this car on your web site please?
Nice ride bud! Average price nowadays pls??
I know where is one of a kind same 67 Shelby on blue for sale with less than 60k miles , im not 100 percent sure its all stock but it really really looks stock even the tires I believe are original. the car is on sale for $210k usd. do you believe its a fair price or is undervalued
Definitely not undervalued. Seems a little high but I would need to see it.
My Dream!)
Doubt the side marker light story about Colorado requiring…seen a few 67 High Country Specials Mustangs and they didn’t have the marker lights and that was on cars built for Colorado market. Given the SHELBY lettering that was on trunk it looks to me like somebody was adding some mods back in day, perhaps to more resemble the 68s. When I got my 67 back in 70s the side 67 side badges had been replaced with COBRA JET and Snake badges just like a 68 KR.
She's beautiful 👍 😍 ❤
Were the side markers special for shelbys or an option for 67? I don't remember any of the mustangs, cougars or etc in 67 having side markers. That started in 68 didn't it?
The side markers had been added due to a Colorado law.
@@AmericanMustangs Ok. Thanks
What's the price?
very nice surviving car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOT all original !
a late late vin? curious; the fender and rear 1/4 panel lights. never seen one with these lights.
He specifically talked about it in the video..
if it's a 4 speed manual,,I do believe they came with a liberty top-loader 4 speed. correct me if I'm wrong???
How can I reach you? interested in one
İ want to buy this car…ım serious … where can i find the owners
how much did you pay?
DANG
😍😍😍😍
I have my doubts based on the limit photos
Wish I could buy it
I hate when these cars turn into things you no longer want to drive.
💙
So is it original?
Is this for sale? What is your website with info on this car?

For sale?
Me: “What color’s the car?”

How can you tell there were so many changes during the year that a real one is very difficult to prove authenticity!!!!
Want to sell
Where's it at very important tell me so u will be ok
Puedo comprarlo?
250k + all day long list it on Bring A Trailer and a bidding war is sure to ensue and the sky’s the limit on the final selling price
I think $250,000 is too high. Side marker lights added, rear hood hold downs added. These need to be taken off to be original, which means added labor & most importantly, body work & paint! I'm guessing in the range of $200k+.
Those are NOT the original hose clamps either.
Plastic fuel filter? BAD idea !
how much you wantin 😃
All original, All original, all original, wait.... Oh yeah, i had some work done on the engine, etc
Yeah it’s all original. Replaced a head gasket only. How nice is your survivor 67 Shelby? Not talking about about your matchbox car. Loser.
So you're telling me that this lady drove that car all the way until 1986 with a 1981 tag? How did she keep from getting arrested or going to jail or getting a massive ticket for her tags being expired. Talk about being stupid LOL
To this day I see cars with expired tags, and apparently that's not a priority for the cops. With the low mileage I'm guessing she didn't drive it very often.
Where'd you get that piece of shit? lol
Fake.
You’re entire troll life is fake. Car is real.
You lose Mr. Trollez! Lol
