MPL - Lebedev modular pistol

MPL is a 9x19 mm pistol with a 16 round magazine created by an order of Russian National Guard Service. It has two modifications: with (MPL 1) and without a silencer (MPL). Both modifications have increased modular capabilities and enable modern tactical devices to be installed under the barrel at the Picatinny rail.

Is this a a striker-fired or hammer-fired gun?
The Baikal MP443 makes the hammer very safe by making it horizontal along the slide, so even if you dropped the gun, the hammer wouldn't go off, but it makes the stroke of the hammer a little longer, so the gun a little slower than other guns.
I prefer internal hammers(free from accidents and dirt, but still stronger and less prone to wear than strikers), a manual safety lever to carry the gun in the cocked position, and a separate de-docker to carry it in the chambered, but un-cocked DA-mode.
Since pistols have a rate-of-fire much lower than rifles, one doesn't need cuts along the barrel length to cool the barrel, so very little of the working mechanism should be exposed to dirt.
Gas-operation is the best, but would make the pistol too large. Blow-back operation isn't very safe, unless maintained in optimal condition, so would prefer a rotating barrel or a barrel stopped with a lug to the browning tilting barrel to address the later drift.
For recoil operated pistols, I think the rotating barrel mechanism of Beretta PX-4 is better than both the barrel tilting mechanism of the browning 1911(because the barrel has no movement along the vertical axis) and even better than the barrel-locking lug of the Beretta 92(because there is far less ware because of a much smaller impact force, when the barrel rotates to let the slide move past it. There is far less impact and far less grinding).
