Really hope that Queenie finds her way through the personal challenges she needs to process, and that you and her can then find your joint ways to somewhere good. I think all your longtime followers will be empathising with your pain, and we will treasure the album as a record of what you three have created together.
Big group hug to all of you. You each have paths you need to follow for your own welfare. Maybe it all comes full circle in time. Maybe it doesn't. But you'll always have a joint milestone in a debut album you're all proud of.

Dave and John Joe can get a new bassist and move forward with the album. Cici (Queenie) can move onto the next thing for her. Personal stuff outside the music will always be tough, but it's all part of the life journey. In a world of social media, nothing is private nowadays. I can't think of many big bands who still have the original line-up years down the line. It's what happens. Good luck to y'all.

You both take care and do your best to move forward. I am going to say something here that is none of my business but at 60 years old, if there is anything I have learned that can be of use I want to throw it out there. I know you both have struggled with some mental health stuff. So I want to say that if there are a handful of things I have learned over the years. One of them is that in the day and age we liive in. I don't honestly think there is anyone who can't benefit from counseling on some level. Whether it is professional or just great friends who have sage advice. No idea if you are involved in counseling but if you aren't I highly recommend it. Apologies if I overstepped but in the spirit of honesty I wanted to share. I just wish I would have done it sooner instead of living with too much anger for too many years. Blessing Dave and CICi!!!

But it’s very understandable when someone has to make a very difficult decision in their life to pull back and take care of themselves been there done that it’s not a very easy decision to make. I continued to watch you kind of sporadically until I heard you play then everything changed for me. It was like, holy crap 💩, this guy is great. And I have always appreciated your gear reviews 🎸because I know you are honest. It’s obvious. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the rest of your fans feel the same way.
