Sight words Practice Binder || Sight words list and practice papers Sight words or high frequency words are words that repeat very frequently in English such as and, are , is , the, they etc. It is said kids should learn minimum of 5 sight words before grade 1. this will help them to read English lessons when they go to grade 1. Most of the sight words are non phonetic words meaning they do not follow phonic rule. therefore sight words are read using letter name but not letter sounds. Kids can be taught sight words as soon as they learn alphabets or even after cvc/3 letter words.
