Very good. In 2005 I built a "three-wheeler" from a Honda ATV ... (I sold it so I could graduate from college). Your project reminds me a lot of Polaris Slingshot. I recommend you review the "Ackerman Principle", for the direction of the front wheels.
Bruce L. Might be further away than I thought. I think it has a blown head gasket. Did you see the water spray out the side? My mechanic mate says that’s pressure from the cylinder. What do you think? You are a mechanic aye?
@@DktheWelder I did see it spray out the side at the beginning of the video but had assumed that was just smoke from the exhaust. Do a leakdown test on it
@@DktheWelder They're similar. Rather than test the compression in the cylinder by using the piston to compress, a leakdown test inserts are via and adaptor and a gauge into the cylinder and shows you a pressure drop over a set period of time. it can be used to point you in the right direction. First find the bad cylinder and then isolate where the air is passing through
So are you gonna grow a third arm too that way you can still steer since one arm will be on the shifter, one on the brake and one on the wheel. Lol just messing around.
Bummer gonna need brakes on that beast for sure. You know I’ve always wanted to do something with a street bike engine. I hade an old Honda 750 magma the frame was hammered but it ran like a champ and I started to put it in a go Kart frame I found in a junk yard but I never finished it and I really wish I had. I always tried to figure out the shifting and I imagined it the same as yours that’s funny because I’ve never seen a bike with a linkage already on the shifter. Anyways man great project and I’ll be waiting to see what els you come up with.
Just got through all 9 parts! Love this thing and your video style, short but plenty entertaining. Looking great.
Thanks for that I’m not much of a video maker but I enjoy the building part and starting to enjoy the editing stuff too

Thanks. I’m going with no Ackerman to start with because it can mess you up in drifts but will be trial and error for a strange machine like this
Coming along really nice bro! Cannot wait to start doing mine!!!!!
Thanks I am enjoying building it. Are you building one?
This build is amazing. !!! Editing is great too. Good work here !!
Thanks glad you like it. 👍
Pretty sweet machining 👍 you deserve many more subscribers!
ENGINES N WHEELS thank you. People are subscribing every day now which is motivating!
Getting close. Still looking forward to seeing you try to jump this thing lol

Bruce L. Sorry to harass you with questions, but do you mean compression test?

Subbed! Looking forward to the next video!
Thank you. Working on the next video now👍
Let's goooooooooo sweet build man
2strokeunlimited 2.0 thanks! Getting pretty exited not too much more till test drive time!

haha the hand brake doesn't actually work properly I think the soft line running too it is too flexible I need to run hard line I think
