Looked like a lot of fun. The front tires are great but the back one, not so much. It needs a tire like of an old Honda three wheeler. Something a little more knobby
Cool trike build. Dig the off road take on one of these. Always wanted one I could throw a paddle on and hit the sand dunes. Maybe allow for some form of anti roll bar in the front? Just a thought. Love the vids, keep them coming!
Thanks . A paddle tyre in the dunes would be awesome. I have been thinking about an anti roll system of some sort , the air shocks could be utilised somehow. I’m working on the next video now got it running a lot better!
I liked the #8 wire approach to brake bleeding - not that you bothered to use the brakes! I loved the 'Oh oh, looks like an obstacle. I'd better floor it.' And the high tech 'solenoidie thing' fault tracing was way kewl. 😉 You are going to need a mate with a bigger paddock when you get that running right, and it might be an idea to sort the brakes out before that happens. Nah... just kidding about the brakes. Brakes are for wimps. 😀
So strange I currently am working on a reverse trike and also an e30 bmw lol but I’m dropping a goldwing motor in the bmw while I have trans rebuild. It’s the 318i so I’d only lose 20-30hp but also lose about 4-500lbs so pwr is substantially increased 🤷🏻♂️ just a fun experiment lol
O cool . That is a coincidence, on that bmw e30 that motor will be ok if you keep it light. Watch the channel Fazy Luck he cut heaps of panels out managed to get lose a lot of weight
@@DktheWelder I’m mainly doing it just to do it, I’m definitely not shooting for speed by any means lol i’m more so looking to see the capabilities of the gl1100 motor cause I’ve been collecting them for other projects. I got really into cross carts 🤷🏻♂️😂
Yes that is still the plan . I need to get everything working right then I will start on the roll cage and then the cosmetic stuff. Nice to hear from you in Sweden
@@dooogides9176 mean reverse? You could use and electric motor like a starter motor and a bicycle hub so it can free wheel forward then engage when you turn the motor on. Would have to gear it down a lot . Or I think go power sports make reverse boxes
@@DktheWelder Ya sry my English is bad...hmm it seem good! But electric motor need anther battery? If I put high voltage motor? Oh and put motor in front wheel? I mean u can boost when go in mud or dirty like u did
Yes you could put high voltage hub motor wheels on the front and have another battery but a lot of work and cost. A 12v motor might work for the reverse then don’t need another battery and starter motors are cheap. Nice to here from you , where are you from?
I just realized you don’t have reverse on that thing what a bummer. On a bike you can kick it back but that trike you will have to get out every time. I know it’s too late now but for the future they do make a few small gear boxes that switch it into revers I’ve seen them used by a few other guys on you tube like Moto mule I believe. Anyway it will still be cool just have to always go forward never backwards haha
It’s a boc 185 ac/dc welder it works well. Try to get one with not too many buttons and dials that make it over complicated and more to go wrong. What are you going to make when you get back to Australia?
It probably does I got dirty pretty quickly but it was super wet , pretty hard to make mud guards that don’t look lame haha . I could be keen to take it to your place once it’s running properly
Are you thinking that if you have a reverse trike you are not allowed to have a street bike as well? Or maybe two or three street bikes and a trail bike, race bike, rocket powered drag bike. Yep, you could still have all those and a reverse trike, but you might need a bigger shed. Hmmm... I hope Daniel's boss does not read these comments.
@@TrevorDennis100 haha . I have had pretty much all those bikes you listed, just trying to build something different. The next project is going to be even more strange and wild

Thanks it is a fun project been working on it today hopefully going again for the weekend!

There is a dirt roundy round not far from where I live, will have to have a go once it’s working better
Looking good, cant wait to get mine done
Thanks. I had a look at your trike build, what motor is that? Is it going to be front wheel drive?
What a journey from the
beginning

This looks so awesome. It reminds me of something batman would ride.
A lot of people say that maybe when I make the roll cage and panel I will make it into the bat trike haha

It could be. I was thinking maybe it has a blown head gasket
