i have only just now used Expression so i am not the best person to ask, however, i was able to install it for free and figure out how to configure it and use it to solve paper 3 Web Design quite quickly. To be fair i have not looked at every requirement for the Web Design with Expression but from what i have had time to look into it was quite easy. I did find some features to be easier and better in Expression but at the same time Dreamweaver had its advantages also. For students i would say you are better of with Expression Web as it is free and this allows you to install at home and practice. It does not lack in any requirements for the ICT IGCSE criteria.
Mr if they they asked a question to get data from from a table. Do I get the full mark if I used a function no matter what it Is? Because me and mu friends used different functions but got the correct answer
If you created a print out to show the results of the data you got and where not asked to show how you got the data then no. You will not lose any marks.
hello sir i gave my paper 3 exam today and web authoring went really smooth, only issue I have is a question in spreadsheets. we were supposed to use lookup function for a question but I somehow managed to use the nested if function for it and it worked, how many marks do you think I will lose?
I cant say without seeing the paper but if it was structured for a lookup function then the marksheet will be giving marks for a lookup function. Not sure how you implemented the nested IF as usually the lookup has numerous rows in the array which would require you to created a nested IF for each one. In any case the question usually indicates how it should be solved so i would need to see the questions to answer you with confidence.

@@paphitisn good day sir I needed a tip, I’m writing ICT theory and I also write like 5 other exams that week and I’m very weak in theory, how can I balance my study time? Cause I need to pass the others but I don’t plan on doing ICT as a further subject but I understand that it is important.
@@MrTSAh-h7q Depending on how much time you have to prepare then you should allocate your time based on how much knowledge you have on each subject and prioritize your subjects. if you are not planning to follow ICT after then i would put the theory to the back of your list and focus more in the other subjects, especially if you have done well in the practical componenets of ICT beacuse this wll drag up your mark irrespective of what you score in theory. I have studnets that got an overall A and got an E in the theory. Practice by doing past ppaers when you are going to study for the theory.
In Expression, unlike the image tag there is not insert video tag. The insert media will has some video formats but does not include the simple video tag. Once you add the video tag you can modify the tag properties and use the tag properties window to add elements like autoplay, controls etc. So if you are entering the video tag and it is like the image tag you may as well type it. The other issue is that if you are asked to enter two video formats so that if one is not supported it will use the other one, there is no way to do it from the dialogue boxes so you might as well learn the code (similar to img code) and be able to answer any question.
Paper 3 is over now. Look forward. Focus on paper 1. Do your best their. Your final grade is based on all 3 papers so keep positive and work hard for paper 1.

hello sir , in a question if they said to use the contents of the specific cells but i didnt use it but i got the correct output in a function , how many marks will they reduce for it??
In Excel? you will lose 1 mark for not using the cell reference. If you had to implement absolute referencing to the that referenced cell so that you could duplicate the formula then that would be another mark.
@@arunkaarthick1106 i can not tell you for sure as i need to see the question, what function they wanted you to use and how many marks the question was. In general each parameter is 1 mark so i would say 1 mark for a basic function.
