DIY Jewelry Box

In this video, I show how to make a DIY Jewelry Box. This is such an inexpensive and creative way to build a Jewelry box!
You will need:
- 5 Picture frames 4 in x 6 in.
- 2 Cardstock cut to the size of 4 in. x 6 in.
- Glue gun.
- Hinges.
- Pencil.
- Hammer.
- Fabric.
- Scissors.
Remove everything from picture frames. Take two frame backings and remove any hooks and stands. Reassemble one frame making sure to put in one cardstock (as the picture) and one frame backing with the hooks and stands removed. Take three frames and bend prongs in. Glue frames on top of each other alternating the frames facing up and down. Make sure the top frame has the front of the frame facing up. Use a pencil to mark where you want the hinge holes to be. Hammer nails into one side of the hinges. Glue fabric to inside of frames. Use scissors to cut of excess fabric in the corners. Once fabric is glued in add last frame to hinges. Reassemble top frame making sure to use cardstock and the other frame backing with hooks and stands removed. Glue fabric to cover backing of top frame.
If the picture frame backing is not very strong I would replace it with a wooden plank from a dollar store or hard board. Try making the cover of the box fancier by using cardstock with a design, a photo or even adding some lace to where the picture goes!
