Leprechaun Trap

In this video, I show how to make a Leprechaun Trap. This is a great STEM activity for kids!
You will need:
- A box.
- Scissors.
- Construction paper.
- Tape or glue.
- Pipe cleaners.
- Gold coins.
For our Leprechaun Trap we decided to make a hidden hole in the floor for the leprechaun to fall into and get trapped inside the box. To make sure the leprechaun had to walk over the hole we made walls leading to the hole. Cut a hole into the middle of the box. Cover and decorate box in construction paper including the hole. Cut an X over the hole. Make walls to force leprechaun to walk over the hole. Make a ladder out of pipe cleaners and tape to the box. Place gold coins on other side of the hole.
My kids had lots of fun coming up with this trap idea and building it! There are so many different traps you could make and ways to decorate them!
