A bagpipe cover of a Chinese march? That's interesting.

It sounds a bit odd that a Chinese march is played with bagpipes, which makes it sounds so westernised. But it's great that it shows the coexistence of Chinese and Western culture in Hong Kong and I hope it stays the way it is.

I want this song played in a confederate manner with banjos and fiddles. Something about it sounds like an old southern song, anyone else get those vibes?

American folk music and Chinese music both use the pentatonic scale, that might explain the vibes.

Makes one think this should been a British Hongkonger march instead and more like “review march of the Royal Hongkong Regiment”

    Interesting
People say Hong Kong is now like CCP but its still... Itself
It is called, "Special Administrative region" For a reason. Went there and Discord and other western apps are usable.
But I like this as the culture is tolerated and maintained
(I like to listen to this while going home from school)
