Seeing a Metal Gear roar is always the funniest thing to me. Someone had to actually program that into the machine purely to imtimadate, as if a giant fucking mech isn't enough, the damn thing roars too.
I'd sue the company who sells me an animalistic mecha that can't roar. 😂

If you look close enough, you notice he started off using Bloodlust, Sundowner’s scissor swords!
Not to mention great soundtrack to go with the boss battles
Normally the most massive boss is the last but no exelsus is 2nd last

This should be typical last boss fight in games. But turned out to be the beginning of the biggier boss battle. This game doesn't stop to impress me.

You know you are badass when they need to bring a Metal Gear designed not only to survive a nuclear war, but esencially designed to hunt and defeat Metal Gears that are themselves designed to fucking beat Metal Gears just to kick your ass.

Metal Gear Excelsus is so underrated. The theme, the design of the machine, everything is perfect.
It’s also not actually a Metal Gear (as it does not have any nuclear capabilities), but it was called as such
To make it sell better.

I never used any other weapons other than the hf blade. It seemed to be more cinematic.

The best way to win a war is to avoid fighting one, and good luck getting any soldier to fight something that horrifying.

It was kind infuriating watching him get stepped on every time the excelsus lifted its foot.

@@dabreadman9677 Parrying takes a fuck ton of damage on this fight, if he parried everywhere he would lose like 20 health, i think each stomp parry does 3 damage or somth so.
The best tactic is to use Ninja run, slide and hit the leg, deal it 3 percent over n over
I remember playing this thinking it was legitimately the end. “Wow what a finish”. Then Armstrong got out, hentai’d himself and charged me.

The trick for the individual sword and stomp attacks is to use defensive offensive. Gives you i-frames so you take no damage if you time it right, while also letting getting a little damage in.
How do you use Defensive Offensive? I have beaten the game on very hard and i heard its useful for revengeance but i dont know what keys i need to press to use it
@@minusone7529 I’m sure you figured it out already but it’s jump and light attack at the same time
@@minusone7529 i play on keyboard just in case, so what you do is press Z in the direction you want to go in. say i wanted to dodge to the left, i press A to move to the left but press Z at the same time. its like parrying, also i changed the keybind from Z to E so its easier to reach. lastly you should have it equipped. u can tell if its equipped if theres a blue box saying "equip" and if you hover over something, it should say "equipped"

I read somewhere that he only ever really puts it on when he wants to seem cool or intimidating. When he's talking with friends he's just uses his normal voice, but when he's talking to his enemies he puts on his gravelly voice.

If you take into the fact at the size of that thing, a larger in mass makes movement most slower, plus a nuclear tank would be extremely heavy to manoeuvre

All the game was an anime without any real physics or logic. The gameplay soooo otaku. I laughed my ass off, buuuut the game is pretty cool and enjoyable, the final boss is really amazing. It’s been a while since I haven’t felt a good “ final boss “
