      @@Shadow1986 also if you look at Jimmy split times, you can see how he was -12s on the Red bull 2019, then after his mistake his time went up to -8s and he finished the lap with -10s. He could've gone 2 seconds quicker in the 2019 car judging by his own split sectors alone. He was faster than the "race lap" time of 1:14. The 1:10 was out of question.

      @@redbarred13 that's not entirely true. Ferrari knew exactly what was going on. The F2004 was an evolution of the F2002, not the F2003. You're too modest Jimmy, we know there's even faster sim-racers out there but your pace is already mind blowing. I tried to beat your average lap time on the Nürburgring GP circuit on GT3 (on a ACC race you streamed recently), and got nowhere near it, with the same car. (Not the same game, I tried it on PC2, but the track and setup can't be that far off each other)
    I may be a noob overall when it comes to Sim Racing, but still... The difference is humongous. So as I said, you're being modest.

    Seeing you Heel & Toe with the Lotus 98T makes me miss using my wheel and pedals. That car is a blast to drive with that combo, I used to think I would never even come close to mastering that technique but I managed to somehow come to grips with it very quickly. Even did races with other people and just shocked myself as how quick I was.
    Great driving as always, especially with the worlds biggest Fast Forward Button.

    Your last comment is super interesting because when the RSS F2019 came out, I had the distinct feeling that around some corners that car was X2010 fast. And I think that is true. The 2019 Formula 1 cars are insane. Really curious to see what the 2021 cars will bring. Ground Effect is a cheaper way to get grip so let's see.

      that's because no one could actually drive it, you'd probably need to wear a g suit like a fighter pilot just to not pass out (it might also twist your neck off) and a crash at the speeds this could achieve no matter how safe the car is is most likely fatal. A really fun concept though

    • @Tigermoto
      @Tigermoto 4 года назад +3

      @@jiujitsumonkey1 Acrobatic aircraft pull upwards of 13G with a pilot wearing a baseball cap. Sustained G will have you, temporary will not necessarily.
      I suspect the main reason is similar, though not as dramatic. Going round a corner at that speed would hurt.
      Moreover, I suspect we haven't got the tyre technology to keep it safe.
      However, it'd still be interesting to see, even if no-one could drive it 10/10ths.
