  • Visit www.cyclepedia.com for more information. When you hear the words front end alignment what comes to mind? Automobiles and potholes may be the first thought. There are other four wheeled vehicles out there running over a lot more than potholes. ATVs and side-by-sides live hard lives crawling over rocks, hauling loads, and crossing trails no other man-made vehicle would dare.

    Great info. I can find a lot of info about toe-in, but nobody ever mentions camber. Camber can contribute to over-steer, under-steer and uneven tire wear. Know of any good online sources for adjusting camber on a quad? Thanks! Cheers, Chris.

      Camber isn't nearly important on the narrow curved contact patch atv tires. On automotive tires with a wide flat contact patch it can throw things off and cause the problems you list.

      @@user-neo71665 the hell it's not. Make it difficult to steer and can make it easier to roll over.

    Specs are vehicle specific, this is a broad overview front end alignment which is very similar on ATV/UTV's. Feel free to visit our website for specific repair information or specifications.

    What is the difference supposed to be on a TRX 400X? I have bad speed wobbles and I don’t know the proper measurement for the alignment.

      You will need the specifications for that model, here is a link to the sign up page for the TRX400X

    You locked nut against wrong part you want to lock them off up against ball joint not track rod?

    • @garybrady7245
      @garybrady7245 Месяц назад

      Why would you tighten the lock nut against the tie rod it won't lock the arm or anything that way. The nut setting against the ball joint won't do nothing it'll just set there letting it move
