I lost my best friend to cancer and in his final hours i was texting him. He told me to listen to this song then passed away. I love him so very much but he’s watching over me now.
I too have lost a friend not to cancer but to suicide after I left. I was transferred over to a different group home, and she had been through so much shit... I still feel that it was my fault somehow. She made me promise never to leave her, and I kept my promise, and it was she who left. I miss you Rudi. Stay up.
@@b.pauline422 Thank you that means more than you can ever imagine. I still miss her, but I know she’s no longer suffering. She had a pretty rough life. Hope 2021 is better. ❤️
The lyrics are genius. If you didn't know before you'd think that they're much older. I'm almost 50 and this is exactly what you think about as you get older
What if I told you, life was built to break? What if I warned you, you can't outrun your fate? Would you believe with time comes grace? In perfect light, in perfect place Every dream, was mine to lose And that's what it took, to lead me to you So here's to the heartache And here's to the mistakes We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place So here's to the heartache What if I told you, that everything fades away? What if I hold you, but tell you there's just no escape? Would you believe with time comes grace? In perfect light, in perfect place Every dream was mine to lose And that's what it took to lead me to you So here's to the heartache And here's to the mistakes We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place Here's to the dark days It's been a long wait We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place I'll suffer, I'll bleed Lose everything I'll get my wings I'll fall from belief Fall to my knees And you will see With time comes grace Here's to the heartache Here's to the mistakes We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place Here's to the dark days It's been a long wait We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place So here's to the heartache Here's to the mistakes We'll drink to all the years, the tears That led to this place With time comes grace With time comes grace
I literally never listen to rock, but since I discovered this song I'm addicted to it! Does someone know what genre this is so I can get even more addicted to it?
My son, who is in prison, heard the song on the radio. He called and asked me to play it for him via you tube over the speaker phone. I printed off the lyrics and mailed them to him. I appreciate the song. I'm 60, Female, and a Retired Navy Officer. This song applies to all of us at one time or another and therefore can appeal to everyone. WELL DONE Nothing More!
He said something like not wearing shoes or socks helps him have better balance/footing on stage, so he can get a better feel of where he's stepping and all.Love this band with all I've got, the connection is unbelievable, and I adore the fact that they really do their best to continuously interact with their fans. They're all so wonderful, what's not to admire about these guys? So much love and respect. Nothing More Nation for life! ♥
Saw these guys when they opened up for Shinedown in Abilene, Tx. They put on one hell of a high energy show. They made a fan at that concert. I'm very happy they are cranking out very good music. This song is awesome!!!
its awesome because these guys sound exactly the same as the recording as they do live. Jonny has one of the best voiced i've ever heard... a rare and hard to find front man these days.
Found these guys while surfing through my phone to see what's happening with some of my favorite bands and listened to these guys and they are awesome and now one of my favorite bands also....
Ashlyn Kapala Nice. Johnny makes such a huge presence on stage, jumping and dancing like he does while playing the drums. And I don't know where Pete's voice comes from. He's a pretty small dude.
I just have to say that this is my all time favorite band. Pretty often do I go through a time of day or week we're I will listen to this album hours and hours on end and just feel so grateful that I somehow found their music through tons of searching for a band that would fit me and my life. I tbh just can't wait for then to release a new album. by saying that am I no where near meaning that this albums already boring. far from it. I just wish they had more than two albums. unless there is another one and I'm just stupid? anyway.... I live you Nothing More!!! You guys rock and I would do anything to see you live someday. Sincerely -Alexis A.
I fell in love with this band when they opened up for Chevelle at House of Blues in Dallas, TX . They put soooo much energy into the performance that had people in shocked especially with them still being brand new at that time. Ever since I've been a fan! (eats an onion ring from wataburger)
This song explains my emotions with my last relationship so well. I'm glad I listen to this band and I'm glad I met the members. Such awesome and kind people. Nothing More fan forever.
the way that they get the lyrics to come through the melody but not drown it out is amazing they get it to harmonize just perfectly to where you can feel the emotion within it without having to stare at the lyrics no you can feel everything its just amazing i love this band and with every song i hear they get better and better song
This band is off the chain...lol...such a freaking awesome song...his voice is just so damn great, the total control of his vocal ranges.....and the band.....it's just the total package..
The guys filming and editing the videos are FUCKING EPIC !! I love the style and original ideas, at leas from my point of view they stand out from the rest through originality...the JENNY clip is just MIND BLOWING.
+Mihai Blaze The editing (and directing) for the Jenny music video was done by Jonny (the singer) himself. I believe this was done by him as well (it has his style), but I'm not even remotely certain on that.
Steve Durrer, Jenny is about his sister, but Here's to the Heartache is about the journey of the band and the highs and the lows they have experienced along the way.
***** I would say it's named after his aunt, but more about his sister. Although it's even more widely about both, and all of those that suffer with mental illnesses. www.billboard.com/articles/columns/rock/6516808/nothing-more-jenny-video-premiere-i-know-jenny-initiative
Same, in Atlantic City. That concert was badass, all 3 bands were amazing! Nothing More really did a good job of pumping up the crowd for the other 2 bands.
Okay, I didn't that this song was on a YT commercial, seriously. There are awesome songs on commercials sometimes, get over it. Now. Thank you heavy metal radio stations. Great jam.
If you listen closely and maybe change a single word. This song could be about the tragedy of living a life as a vegetarian. Here's to the heartache. Here's to the missed steaks. :(
+Malaki Smith They never had a set in stone singer from what I've read. They had a quite few vocalists over the years and he decided to make the switch from drumming to vocals.
Yes and no, I had already listened to it before and fell in love with it,then I was listening to Rise Against and watched the ad and was like "yep now I must listen to this song" 😁😁😁
“With time comes grace.”These words have saved me more than I can count.
Amen
Best tattoo line idea :) thank u NM
Sometimes that's all it takes, a few key words
Yep, we just need to stay steady as best as we can in life.
I can never understand how anyone couldn't appreciate music like this. This song is so powerful! right in the feels!
Felt. So Exquisitely thorough when it comes to High Excellence Expresion
Who recorded the drummer's bass drum, because who ever did deserves a freaking Klondike bar man, like seriously!?!
Jonny was the drummer. He plays the tracks for the recordings.
Chia!
😂😂😂
Who is listening to this in 2020? Hate to ask, but this band needs to be recognized for the masterful people they are.

Made my heart drop. I lost my brother to cancer and I watched his last breathes. Hang in there man you will always have love here.
The lyrics are genius. If you didn't know before you'd think that they're much older. I'm almost 50 and this is exactly what you think about as you get older
I love the way that this song can even make you appreciate horrible things if it meant you got 1 good thing in return.
I am so addicted to this band, they are so good and Johnny adds so much energy and emotion to his songs
The lyrics of any song of this band always tear me up, they are all beautiful. Lyricist must've lived some though stuff throughout his life. Respect
Yeah same. Literally rips me apart. Love this band though.
I happened too! But not anymore because NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!
You'll understand me one day, WHEN THE WILD WIND BLOWS!
They sound even better in person. In my top 5 for live performance bands
Truth!
Mark Bishop yesss!
Check aftershock lineup... they have been there 2 years 2014 and 2016. Maybe more in the future. Few bands match his intensity and emotion.
This is awesome news!! Hope to see them in July with Breaking Benjamin!! So excited! :D
Might see them with breaking Benjamin and five finger death punch soon!
What if I told you, life was built to break?

It's been a long wait
We'll drink to all the years, the tears
That led to this place
I'll suffer, I'll bleed
Lose everything
I'll get my wings
I'll fall from belief
Fall to my knees
And you will see
With time comes grace
Here's to the heartache
Here's to the mistakes
We'll drink to all the years, the tears

Underrated is an understatement, this song made me leave you in the past...forever
The weight of the waste of the years we spend apart crushes me. If it had been my choice we would have never said goodbye back then.
I hope they are still around, their music has carried me through many months as I’ve found Christ this year

I love this comment. I pretty much died laughing because of how truthful it was.
+Patchwork heart Mine? Or someone else's?
+Christopher Baldino pretty much the entire little comment group section. your added comment just kind of made my laughing hysteria worse tbh.
heres to the heartache. heres to the mistakes. we will drink to all the years all the tears that led to this place.
The guitar work in this song is so underrated. It's phenomenal.
Doesn't matter who you are; black, white, hispanic, asian or anything in between, if it's good music and you like it then listen away.
I feel like I'm an ET
Michael Redkey Im kryptonian , how it works ?

Michael Redkey so if it's bad music I'm not allowed to listen? How inconsiderate

God damn Jonny Hawkins is handsome. Easily one of the most attractive people in rock. Hell, in music.
It's the hair, isn't it. It's cool. I'm trying to grow my hair out but right now I look like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
