Melanie, thank you for the opportunity to be interviewed on your channel!! This was so much fun and I enjoyed every minute that we chatted together. I mentioned it in the video but let me say it again - your Booth Sellers Bootcamp Course helped to shape our business and I am grateful for the knowledge and wisdom you share in the course!!
Cindy HI 👋🏾! I was born and raised in St Michaels MD then as an adult I served with the Delaware National Guard and lived in Middletown/Smyrna…when you said slower-lower I laughed so hard. I’m an Arkansan for 5 years now. How excited was I to hear from someone back home ohhhhh you have no idea how I was glued to your every word. I started flea marketing when I came to Arkansas and never knew anything about this world. I love it. I’m still learning and and having fun. I will be following you. Melanie thank you for this interview and for sharing your knowledge. ❤❤❤ I’m visiting home in August and hope to visit Reinvented Delaware. 😊
Cindy, I love the story how you and your husband started the business together and still work together so many years later. So inspiring!
Thank you! We really enjoy our work!
I do love to see what is in the store before hand, but I like to grab a coffee, and walk in, and see for myself, while I browse, shop and relax. ☕️🥰
I would love to own a booth one day. 🥰✨ Great tips.👏🏻 Drinking my ☕️ while I listen. 🤍
It's fun to actually go in and look at the home decor and furniture pieces. Enjoy browsing your local shops!
I just added (subscribed) reinvent Delaware to my RUclips watch list! I enjoyed her talk!
Woohoo!! Thanks for joining our reinventing journey here on RUclips1
Enjoyed the video and conversation with Cindy so much. It was full of great information and inspiration!
Such kind words Karen! Thank you!
Hi from Brighton, Michigan. My sister in law lives in Seaford Delaware. Very interesting video.
Hello from Delaware!! That's crazy that your sister-in-law lives in Seaford! That's about 30 minutes from where we live and have our shop!
So many great pieces of wisdom and knowledge in this video! Reinvented Delaware is amazing!
Awe, that's so sweet of you to say!
I have had a booth for three months now. Been selling on Ebay, Mercari, etc. For 5 years but the booth is new to me. I started watching your videos last week and today I spent about 3 hours redoing everything!! Thank you for what you do! I have learned so much from you already! ❤
I have had a booth a little over a year and I learned a ton. The first step is to work on my Facebook presents more!
Glad it was helpful Stephanie!
Such great information. Great interview! Learned a lot and feel so inspired!
I enjoyed listening to this booth chat. Cindy, you are so talented. Love your projectz.
You are the sweetest Tammy! 🥰
Love, love, love this! Content is just what I needed to hear today. Very relatable.
Hi, Melanie, I am really enjoying listening and learning from you seasoned, creative entrepeneurs. Thanks for sharing and encouraging others. I am a new follower to Lost & Found Decor. I will also be checking out Cindy's social media. Best wishes to you both for continued success.
Thank you for watching!
What a great discussion. A friend and I have thought we could do this many times over the years. I am now surprised how many things we hadn't even thought of. We thought of so many ideas that would cost us too much money. I have trouble writing too much down, it seems so tedious. The way she keeps track of everything seems absolutely perfect. I've always been so good at remebering...not anymore. Thanks!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the conversation! Thank you for watching 😊
I loved this episode. I love hearing from someone who focuses on selling local. I have felt pushed from all directions to sell online and even though as a maker many of my items are pretty easy to ship I really just don’t want to. I have built a website but I have a hard time making myself spend time updating, etc. I really just want to sell things in my booth.
There’s totally space to craft your business the way you want to Sherry! I think the bigger overall thing to consider is multiple revenue stream… are there other local things you can add in that would also generate some revenue? Custom projects, decorating for customers or guided flea market trips, etc. Online doesn’t have to be the thing :) But it’s helpful to have a few irons in the fire, so when one is down the others can be up!
Love this conversation. Learned quite a few "new" things. (not new...we all know we need to do better with our bookkeeping and social media!) Thank you
This is a fabulous interview with a boatload of useful information!
Glad you found it helpful!!
Great interview. I love Cindy. She is incredibly talented.
Thank you my sweet friend!
I suscribed today. I have never watched your channel. I’m from south central Arkansas and love antiques and vintage. Happy I found you!!
Thanks so much! Love seeing a fellow Arkansas here :)
This is great. You all shared so much information. I am a retired teacher and I am considering opening a booth in a local mall. I am hoping to open it up in September 2022. I have a couple of projects to complete prior to doing it.
I'm enjoying this series so much. I hope it continues 🙂
Me too!! Isn't Melanie amazing??
Loved this! Great ideas! Love the bullet point journal and masking tape idea. I’m a pen and paper person also. Taking measurements and also being a face daily. Love love!!

I love all of this and dreaming of doing this myself. Thank you so much.
Melanie I probably won't ever do a vendor Booth because there really aren't ones in this nearby area that I would be interested in putting my things but I really wish you would do a course on selling online.
Thank you so so much fabulos idea and tips 🔔🇮🇸👌🇱🇷🔔💡🔎📸🥰

Great video!
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic conversation! Such useful information for people wanting to start their own business using social media to support their handcrafted and artisanal work. I was really interested in Cindy's response to Melanie's question about what Cindy wishes she had known at the start, now that she's several years into her business. Do you have anything to share about why that second location in the tourist area did not work out? What do you think was different between the two locations that might have caused different outcomes for each location?
Thanks for watching! To your question - I wish I knew why I wasn't as successful in the second location! It's really a mystery that I didn't try to solve because we were so busy with keeping our first shop full and with all of the custom work we were working on. I'm so glad you enjoyed watching the interview! Your support means alot to me !🥰
Question. I didn't realize that Instagram is monetized? How does that work?
It's a bit complicated to explain here, but here is jist of it: brands offer products and payment in exchange for an IG influencer sharing it with their followers. That is certainly not a comprehensive explanation by any means!! Search 'how social media influencers are compensated' here on RUclips and I am sure you will find a much better explanation!! Thanks for watching 😊
