What a terrific family. I really enjoy learning more about Aaron, he's obviously a very important part of your life.
My Dad was a huge train collector. After he passed away we had a huge auction for his collection. It took two full days. We had buyers from all over the world. My Dad was born in 1921 and started collecting as a child. He also had a very nice train layout and he played with his trains til his dying day and he was 93 years old. In his will he gave each of us a full train set. I ended up buying quite a few train cars at the auction. My three brothers were always and still are train lovers. Now, as his daughter, I have increased my love for trains. I am 68 years old and I am starting a train layout with my brother’s help. So glad Aaron loves trains and is keeping this hobby alive.
I read a story once about an unmarried couple and one of them died unfortunately. Without a will, the survivor ended up being kicked out of their house, because the deceased one's brothers and sisters were deemed next of kin and inherited the house. If you two don't marry, you should at least have something legal like a will that determines what happens in a case like that to protect one another.
Would love to see some of Aaron’s railroad stuff. I think that would make a great video. So glad y’all did this video, it gave us an insight on who you all are.Aaron and Barb seem to have come from a wonderful family. Would love to hear more about yours Jeffrey. Great 2 videos. Tfs.

Loved this Q & A session! Aaron seems like a planner and a deep thinker. My husband also explains everything in detail after 32 years I still have not gotten used to it. I just like to know the quick details and then move along with things. Barb is so sweet and caring and Jeffrey you are the best!

go Aaron, go Aaron! i am sooo much like Aaron: my place always needs dusting and vacuuming, and the kitchen and bathroom floors need sweeping and mopping, but i like to keep things picked up and my place is very organized...a place for everything and everything is in its place.
First of all, so fun watching the Q&A videos. Second, how beautifully you all answered the questions. Aarons laugh is so charming. You all look SO young it’s hard to believe Barb is a mother of 4 and you & Aaron have been together 10 years. I’ve been collecting since before you all were born and so enjoy watching you discover and talk about your findings.

If you end up in a hospital Aaron can not have any say. My cousin was with someone for 25 years and would not let her parter make decisions. They turned to her mom. Her mom was like her parter knows her better.

My Holy Grail Item: My brother lost his teddy bear from 1986. It was a "Brownie Bear" given out by Dunkin Hines when you mailed in enough UPC from the boxes of brownies. He was a small brown bear wearing a red t-shirt that said "I ❤️ Brownies" He lost it when he was little and cried for it for days. I'd love to find another one.
Boy did I have that wrong. I thought you and Barb were a couple. I can't believe Barb has 4 kids, she looks like a kid herself. Thank you for giving us your background. I really enjoy watching. All the best from Canada!
When I first started Etsy it took me close to an hour to list one item!
Now I’m up to about 3 maybe 4. I try my darnedest to take all the best pics I can and are aloud and get everything down about the item.
Hoping I’ll get faster as I go.

Sometimes disposability means availability . In a state like Florida in many areas where many elderly people die, and it is a more transient state ,where ,people tend move more often:there is plenty of availability.Things are constantly replaced, like in thrift stores : things are gone, but the next day there is plenty available; especially in the more populous areas. I am assuming a pro in smaller towns, is that one gets better prices to buy things for resale ?

Ugh, I can’t with FB Marketplace and around me it’s just a deep discount mentality so no real selling opportunities there
I believe in 3 Rules for my booths.
The first Rule is: (1) Do Not Put all of your eggs in one basket. In other words, do not sell "Just Floweres"; or "Just Toys"!!
Second Rule is: (2) Pile your booth full of tons of good things, at reasonable prices;
AND the third Rule is: (3) Do Not try to get Rich quickly, because it will not happen. Price your items to sell quickly; and when they sell, replace ASAP.

I have sold a bunch of antiques on facebook marketplace! I offer paypal and shipping. Sent a pair of carriage lamps to the Netherlands. Don't understand Etsy, never really shopped there. I also use eBay, depending on the item.
Aaron I love looking up Triple D places to eat when we travel and trying them. I am from STL so Cardinals all the way. I always say if I even mention (I can't say C word that sounds bad) so I will say the Chicago baseball team I would get struck by lightening being from St. Louis. Lol
another thing that might affect sales in a booth in an antique malls pricing ? are your prices too high ? Also in very large antique malls, where is your booth situation within the antique mall ? location ? is it near the entrance where everyone can see it ,or way hidden somewhere ?
