If I'm not wrong, Louis Buñuel's "L'Age d'Or" (1930), an early talking movie, has curse words usage in French.

The list is incomplete. You missed out some movies like:
Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)
    Dirty Harry (1971)
The French Connection (1971) - truckloads of swears, curses and street slangs
Husbands (1970) - a film directed by John Cassavetes
Easy Rider (1969) - the first film with middle-finger shown

What I know that the first Middle Finger shown was in The Ring 1927 and Speedy 1928.

After the Hays code was replaced by the rating system (1967?), filmakers could use as much profanity as they desired in their movies. But they really didn't start to use profanity liberally in their movies until the 1980s I'm guessing.

Hays code is overrated bullshit. i dont see any difference from movies censorship in 1920 or 1940. (maybe they kiss little less after 1934 but thats all)

@@historyofrockmusic-mostpow3826 This is true. Lots and lots of minimally clothed females in the 1930s and earlier. The 1940s was no fun at all, but it did bring about the wholesome drama genre, which was destroyed after the 80s by extra cash grabbing producers and moviegoers.

"Scarface" was the movie that REALLY opened the door to throwing the F word around liberally in movies. Before then, even R-rated movies rarely used it more than a couple of times.

@@MisterMelange Fame (1980) used the F word 48 times, which was crazy liberal for back then....3 years before Scarface. But then Scarface had triple that count

Slap Shot from 1977 has tons of swearing, mostly from Paul Newman of all people. Apparently it helped loosen him up in real life too as he enjoyed playing it so much

Diary of a Mad Housewife beat Carnal Knowledge by about a year in 1970 with two uses of the c(_)nt word, was also one of the first films to use the f @g word. That movie also shows possibly the first appearance of a shock rock band in any movie, The Alice Cooper Band. Was also Alice Cooper's first ever appearance in a film.

Soon i will release updated corrected version of this. Some mistakes here - mc5 clip is not music video but live show (first music video with f word is 1994 nine inch nails song), also i need to find first TV series with F word (its probably The Hitchhiker (1983) according to imdb parents guide - but there is no subs or screenplay on internet so i need to watch all episodes of that badly rated show until i hear F word -it could be in any episode from 1983 to 1991. (earliest confirmed now tv show with f word is Oz (1997)

@@historyofrockmusic-mostpow3826Hey it's alright man. I research like anybody else passionate about art. Most of it is done by accident, that's why I remembered this video from a few years ago and had to write my random findings. Just happened to come across Diary of a Mad Housewife today, worthwhile watch and the protagonist is unlike any other in that era of film. It's an okay black comedy.
Anyway I do hope you share any findings. Also found one of the first "inventions"/"ideas" of "snuff". I saw Auto-Focus which led me to see Hardcore from 1979 and on its wiki page leads you to Snuff from 1976. Looks like a really dumb film but I'll eventually watch it because I'm a curious type. Apparently the concept is older than 1976 but I can't think of why people would've wanted to make those in real life, not fictionally, before the 70s.

Looking at the list in your description, you missed "Bullitt" (the word "bullsh*t") and "In Cold Blood" (the word "p*ssy" and some others IIRC).

F-Word & C-Word are both such worst foul words ever.
There were lots of those two foul horrible words in Rise of The Footsoldier & The Football Factory.
