Hey, I´m one of the tanks in "high" gear queuing for +4s :D I´m in training, figuring out my chosen tank spec. Love to watch/listen to your videos while doing other things at home
Bit late to the party - I only found you when you were in the last episodes of your BDK challenge. One thing I really like about your videos (and I found nobody else does it at that level of detail): You explain exactly what you are doing and why - which is great for someone trying to learn a spec and the little details that make or break a good player.
A thing I did to simplify key bindings was I made conditional macros for damage/healing spells. Regrowth/wrath on the same button depending on friendly or hostile target or mouseover etc. I am also a tank trying my hand at healing 🙈
Hey vlad nice video! Did you know rake from stealth does extra dot dmg? Also swiftmend boosts your next healing spell so it’s nice to swiftmend > wild growth for aoe heal, or swiftmend > regrowth / rejuvenate for ST :) love the video keep it up!
Vlad: "I just needed to..." and me thinking "you don't need to do anything, if people are dying with defensives available and/or standing in avoidable damage it's completely not your fault if they die. Yes, you can potentially save them, but never feel like it's 'your fault' when they're not doing anything to prevent their own demise themselves." As a healer main I know it's tough to separate yourself from it, and you do often feel like any death is your fault, but after a while you need to realise it just isn't your fault. Removes a lot of the stress once you come to terms with that.
hey just wanted to say this with lifebloom, you want one on yourself always because it makes all of your hots tic faster, and then you put your second lifebloom on another target (i do whoever is squishier unless someone dropped in health). i used to do the same thing as you but i asked the druid discord what to do and they were really helpful with answering any questions i had
This is kinda inaccurate, always having LB on yourself is going to drain your mana so quickly because you are having to reapply your hots more often. Its better to have your LB on the tank and dps, or double dps. Only put LB on yourself when there are high periods of dmg going out where you need your hots to tick faster.
@@saffia757 your hots last the same amount of time but tick faster. more ticks equal more healing, more healing means more mana. plus you rarely use mana on a resto tbf. trees are cheap, lifebloom cheap, free regrowths are free
@@parili7 Telling someone who is new to resto to always keep LB on themselves is troll and a bad habit to fall into. There is no reason outside of high instances of dmg to have LB on yourself, also since we are always running verdancy, the blooms have great synergy. This has literally been the general rule in M+ for ages >.
@@saffia757 with the talents you run you basically always wanna keep 1 on yourself and one on someone else. tanks are pretty good on their own, so you don't need to put it on them. but I'm not here to argue just saying what the high key pushers told me 🤷
Hi, Hello, and wel-quack. A fun fact about the community discord, we have fun memes. Sometimes memes that have happened from streams such as THE BREATH
If you're missing having a kick, you should totally take it! You're losing improved BS which wouldn't be relevant until the highest Tyran keys anyway. But there are multiple dungeons Rdruids talent into kick on the highest keys. Just make sure you make a macro with cat form (if you're not in it already).
Most resto druids don't run skull bash. You have to give up too much just to get it, and even if you do take it, using it is really awkward because you have to waste a global going into cat form before you can skull bash anyway, which just feels bad. You should really consider retaking Heart of the Wild. It's a significant boost to personal dps and you should be able to comfortably use it during most bosses.
Wasn't the spin that got them. Monk got lowish and got hit by Earth Bolt which wasn't getting interrupted for whatever reason and the Warrior died because of Marked for Butchery and then took an Earth Bolt to the face while you were healing yourself from Earth Bolt not being interrupted lol. Crazy watching Earth Bolt spammed at will while 3 kicks are available. Only need one person for prio kick the rest could have rotated on Earth Bolt which was causing most of the problems from the looks of it.
crafting with wyrm crest is the worst decision you can make, you need wyrm to upgrade alot of heroic items, and if you craft with wyrm crests you pay duble the gold on craft and recfrat with aspects..... and duble the crafting mats, you are better off crafting embelishment without any crest its 502 ilvl.
If you're pushing for maxed out ilvl, sure, it's not a great idea, but if you're just trying to get 2500, it serve its purpose as I won't even recraft them with Aspects later on (:
that is actually not really true but many people have that misunderstanding. Most HoTs will not make you enter combat if they heal somebody while you are out of combat, so you don't generate threat, that is true. But if you are in combat then every HP you heal will generate threat (and any overheal will not generate any threat)

Think you mean natures swiftness. Swiftmend consumes a hot for instant healing.
@@shinchib no he's correct swiftmend buffs the next rejuv regrowth or wild growth
I remember reading that talent and then my brain decided to just never use that information, thanks so much for the much needed reminder!

I've had mixed suggestions, others said that the increased Bloom chance was more worth it. I kinda do a bit of both I guess.

Good to see that shiny bald head again. I do have a question about it. When it rains, does the rain bounce of or does it flow like a waterfall?
heads up you can wild growth your target (enemies included) and it spreads from the target.
Also you can target a mob with Wild Growth and it will apply to your friends nearby

Is Brackenhide really your favourite? I can't stand it lol. I'm also confused by what is good ilvl now as well. Not played retail since season 3
480-485 is what people start to do M+ with, 475 is comfy for M0, that's about it. 6+ key levels are where people expect you to have 500+ ilvl
Ah okay. Well my pala is around 500ish after a few M+ and an LFR. So I'm not as far behind as I though

90 min of Vlad in dungeons? YES PLEASE! Also the person at 50 min was French and wanted the BL at the elephant boss instead of the forge boi :)
More of that coming!
Thanks for confirming the French, figured it was something to do with Bloodlust :D
The warriors zugzug stopped zugzugging. :(
He will no more :(
Just Fyi the helmet enchant does not do fire damage for healers. But at least the weapon does shadowflame.
