I have seen this way too many times. WHY, in the beginning of the video, do we see a police officer in uniform (this time a female) walk up to the guard seated on the horse and immediately start touching the horse in exact violation of the warning signs?? These signs should apply to EVERYONE!
This is why the sign went from don't touch the reins, to don't touch the horse, to the picture sign, of hand over top of horse. Only problem is, we haven't seen our lovely lady MOD officer, feed Polo treats to the horses.
From 2nd September to 24th September there will be no mounted Guards at Horse Guards while planned works are ongoing , they are levelling the cobbles in the boxes where the horses stand . A Dismounted Guard will continue in the courtyard .
WHY do people INSIST on standing so close to the horse if they're afraid of it?!! Ugh!
