    Do you think you might be able to do a similar video but shot at night at all?
    All of these new buildings in Brum certainly look impressive lit up when it's dark.

    Fantastic flying! Would you allow me to use about 10-15 seconds for a b-roll intro? I'm going to be filming an on-the-ground event in Birmingham next weekend and as I live in Glasgow, I can't get there until the morning of the event. I don't have a drone of my own, so a few of your shots would really make my video pop. I'm not monetised or anything, so a nod & a link in the description is all I can offer in return ✌

      @@Just_another_Euro_dude What you are looking at is just the City Center of Birmingham not the whole City, Birmingham UK is actually around 150 miles square and if you look past the city center photos into the distance that is how far the City of Birmingham extends. The city centre has certainly changed a lot since the heady days of its 1960s-1980s concrete brutalism when I used to live there. However, I can't ever get over the fact that they actually REDUCED THE HEIGHT of its present tallest structure - still - (BT Tower) by more than 50 feet by removing the antenna / spire which was an integral part of the original tower when it was first built in 1965 - what the hell were they thinking? (Plus, their new logo is utter crap as well - easily the most boring ever, their best was the old 1980s yellow one). The tower now looks really lame and pathetic with a flat top like that. Only in Birmingham do they make an iconic building that was such a part of the skyline for so long actually *shorter*. Somebody with some daring could easily have come up with a dynamic proposal to turn it into one of those thrill seeking rides and turn it into a city centre tourist attraction - by adding a 150ft vertical drop-lift tower to the top and call it 'The BT Tower Skyshot' or something. That would still only take the tower's total height to around 190m (600ft).

    • @peterwilliamallen1063
      @peterwilliamallen1063 Год назад +3

      The reason for the change to the BT tower is that when it was built it had old style analogue transmitters which stopped buildings exceeding it's height and blocking telecommunications between the BT Tower in London and the North, but just lately they have put new digital telecommunication equipment in which now allows Birmingham to have taller buildings than the BT tower, the old yellow BT logo stems from the old British Telecom day's of privatisation, BT is now called Openreach and that is the new logo and how could you have tourist's tramping up a narrow tower full of telecommunications equipment just to go on a roller coaster ride and buildings are now going up in Birmingham that will exceed the height of the BT Tower

    For the size of the city, it's mediocre in its layout and architecture.

    • @peterwilliamallen1063
      @peterwilliamallen1063 Год назад +1

      You are watching this from a drone 100's of feet up, so it does not portray the actual size of the City Center plus this is only showing a small part of the City Center and unless you have visited Birmingham and walked around it your comment sounds a bit stupid.
