Seems to me Liverpool is missing out on the building boom in the uk like Manchester, Leeds, London, all building skyscrapers. The prime real estate in Liverpool could have a fantastic skyline, let's hope if and when it's developed it is a world beating skyline.
You seem unaware that there are such buildings - allready built or in construction - also that they are not allowed to be built within the Conservation Zone.
They were actually designed to be taller , but Liverpools world heritage status would have been lost , so they were lowered . Then Evertons new stadium was given the go ahead by the corrupt Everton season ticket holder and leader of the council Joe Anderson , Liverpool lost its world heritage status and Joe Anderson was sacked and charged with misconduct, but the Bramley Moor dock was still lost forever and is now being replaced with a concrete bowl bought by an Iranian /Russian financed company who also actually bought the liver buildings at a cut down price and then sold it again , all in the name of Everton FC trying to be bigger than its more succesful neighbours, and Liverpool FC where banned by the council for years to expand their ground , even the expansion of the Anfield road stand was limited so that they could not have a roof that was too high , I could tell you lots more but it would take a book the size of the encyclopidia brittanica to tell you ! love from Huyton x
I'm a red but think evertons new stadium looks brilliant to be honest. So good to see regeneration of places that have been derelict and baron for 50 years. Don't let your tribalism towards football scew your perspective.
Sorry - how does reutilising an abandoned dock in a redevelopment area become a negative ? It actually cannot be seen from anywhere other than the river.
You confuse the City Council's finances with those of the actual economy and the City Region. Croydon Council in Greater London is bankrupt and yet massive redevelopments are continuing apace.
Sorry - what do you mean by 'down sized city' when the City Region is actually bigger than the preceding Metro County. Name any other regional city which does not receive 'massive government handouts' - like Glasgow or the WHOLE of Scotland. Also, why are you not comparing it to Croydon with similar issues.
Liverpool is looking awesome
Yes, it is !!!
Great work well captured buddy 👏
Thanks a lot for your nice comment !!
It's nice city.
You`ll never walk alone 🤙
Pilots should never do 💪.

There's a big build coming called Liverpool waters

@@cmg1819 Why didn't LFC take up the opportunity to relocate to docklands as well?
How is a city declared bankrupt and subject to special measures not 6months since able to attract investment ?

Like Birmingham only marginally worse.
A former world city kept in intensivo care by hefty UK Gov handouts. The downsized city with the worst local Council in the land
