Martin Kovács well. the engine is not deisgned to run at the revlimiter every launch and through 1,2,3 & 4 gear.. That is why the limiter is there and cut of the fuel.. So running your car at the revlimit 99% every launch and through 1,2,3 & 4 gear, will eventually kill your engine more quickly than if you don't..
Yep, i can confirm Turkey pays the HIGHEST PRICE for petrol than any other country in the world. Comparing to Australia, it is 2.5x MORE of the price. Nothing to do with the value of the Turkish Lira, and the reason is we have an odd 30 million people in a city. 30 million people (50% of them driving cars..) and the traffic is a huge problem! Imagine if petrol and CARS were cheap ? It would be crazy! and yes cars also have a ridicilous tax on them (a DEL SOL in Australia costs roughly 5-7k) in Turkey (13-14k) And before anyone makes a stupid comment, all the numbers i used were DOLLARS, not Turkish Liras.
What has Tax to do with a second hand car? The cars are indeed expensive in Turkey, but that has nothing to do with taxes. Im paying for a Golf 3 VR6 2.8 litre engine a tax of 548 euro euros a year. In Turkey you pay 537 Turkish Lira, thats 189 euros ! The gasoline here in the Netherlans is also expensive. 1.75 euros a liter, that 4,97 Turkish Lira.
