night & much to my dismay my Motha was going bonkers in the kitchen! I thought the house was on fire but when I
went in there to see what was going on I saw my Motha watering her plant with the leak that was coming down from
the ceiling eyeball light fixture! Whew. At least it was just a leak & not a fire! Out I went to go get the ladder
& up I went to the ceiling to see what this leak was about at the eyeball light fixture. Motha warned me that I
should turn the light fixture off first & you know, I even listened to her this time! I gently removed the light
bulb that had not been removed for many years & held my mouth just right in order to remove the eyeball light trim
cover. I tried to remove the trim cover around the leaking eyeball light & guess what happened next.....

Hmmmm, I would have turned the main breaker off. You never know who is going to come into the room and habitually flip the switch without thinking. Also, you have a potential fire hazard and an electrocution hazard with water near wires.

Yes I didn't get that far for this particular video. You would have to get up in the attic when it's raining to then locate the exact location of the drip....take a bucket up there to catch the water then figure out how to go about fixing the leak.

Well did you get your water leak repaired? If you don't fix the water from coming in from the roof then you will always have issues at your light fixture every time it rains. I crawled up in the attic when it was still raining so I could pin point where the water was coming in then I put a pan up in the attic to catch remaining drips so I could then dry out around the light fixture etc.. Did you watch any of the other videos I made of this project? nothing solved.
This video was the first of many for looking at this water leak so that's why nothing was solved in this particular video other than what to first do when encountering a leak such as this. Just go to my main RUclips channel page then click on playlists then scroll down to roof leaks or something like that & you should be able to find all the videos I made for this issue. Try it. That’s a fire hazard/electrocution risk. He should have turned the power off, or at least the circuit breaker.
Yes you are correct. I should've turned the power off before working on the light fixture initially. Once I started though, I then turned off the power before I crawled up in the attic to check things out...
I got this today the light was flashing on and off. and the switch was off.
Did you get it fixed by now? LOL

It happened to me one time and after it and it gone but i want tip how to fix water mark and etc to do on it Godbless
If you have a water mark, you would then have to put something over the water stain that will prevent the stain from bleeding through. I use some stuff called kilz primer for that then you would have to apply two coats of that over the water stain then apply two coats of your finish ceiling paint color if you still have the paint!
