It's no longer Star Wars it's She Wars!! I was a fan since 77, I left the fandom since The Last Jedi & have seen Disney/KK destroy the franchise and also legacy characters! so at this point just let Star Wars Die or Kill it if You have To!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude I dislike the messaging in a lot of KK star wars stuff. But I disagree. I was worried about the girlboss stuff but I didn't see it. I think you find what you're looking for. I think this show is proof that we can enjoy well written female lead.
I didn't find it well written. Just the opposite. They made the rebels idiots and the female leads shallow and predictable. It's the same thing over and over. The only difference now is that the female leads are like able to Rebel fans. It's the same shallow writing done in a "nice" way.
If it was an all male cast this show would be blasted for crap script writing and lame plot devices. But it's a bunch of chicks so let's give them a pass. Girl bosses written in like they are rebellious idiots is not "strong".
I find it incredibly confusing how as a whole ass race which we think ourselves to be “Smart” let things like girl bosses be an issue….even more so when people add shit to a show that just isn’t there, further further more Ashoka if she is a badass it’s cause she was trained by THE BADASS himself and if Sabine if badass it’s cause she was part of a badass crew It’s not that they want to make the show feminine or the force for that matter And if KK says the force is female now you give her the middle finger cause we know the father the son and the daughter are the personifications of the force If the show doesn’t push a certain agenda you k ow what you can do about it? Not a goddamn thing because you don’t have too….they can push whatever they want on you but if you ignore it and don’t let it phase you then that must mean it ain’t shit to ya and just go about your day That’s how I do that’s how probably millions or thousands do it
@@fowlscoundrel i believe you mean Sabine being a rebellious idiot for losing the map, but stuff like that has happened both in rebels and clone wars where the good guy gets a thing then gets it taken away bythe bad guy So it makes us the audience be like damn she’s so dumb or annoying, but if that’s what it is it’s because it’s written like that and the actor’s just play the part

Soulless flat acting paired with rebellious and disrespectful dialog to make someone look tough when all it does is make them cringe af. Losing the map was stupid but how Sabine figured out that twisting the sphere is how you solve it... gawd it makes everyone who looked at it that much more stupid. Who knew that admiral thrown would leave his location hidden in a rubiks cube. Stupid

I do like the casting choices made for all the roles. I wish disney respected women enough to write smart and thoughtful dialog.
