@@info0 Yeah, I let my premium time expire in March and stopped buying anything other than using up remaining GE & GJN coin already on my account. The reason was simple - lack of practical benefits for keeping premium time. One map ban and SL insurance are far from enough to justify re-subscribing. But a large multiplier on event point gains, infinite map bans, choice of how large your BR spread will be (options of +/- 0.3-0.4, 0.7, or 1.0), premium/talismanned machines donating unused modifications RP to something else in your lineup, ability to activate boosters in the after-battle rewards screen for the prior match (to remove the RNG from boosters), and free conversion of some daily amount of CRP to research or modifications RP per day of premium would all be very nice touches to help positively convince people to pay up. A lot of the frustration in WT stems from trying to squeeze people until they accept a terrible deal.
Now they need to make the APCR more realistic. Yes, it’s bad at penetrating angles but the carbide core should shatter as it penetrates and turns into a shotgun once in pens through the armor. If i remember right, it was like that long ago but they nerfed it really hard cuz it was OP but they had it penetrate the armor at any angle.
You are very much correct on this. All APCR and APDS should spall similarly to solid AP rounds. Generally speaking, the spall should be equivalent to an AP round twice the size of the penetrator. In addition, APCR across the board has underperforming penetration. That being said, American APCRs up to 90mm size should disproportionately spall more than those of other nations, because they used larger penetrators. For example: - 88mm Pak43 L/71 APCR is a 35-36mm penetrator, correct pen should be 305mm or so, spalling as much as a 75-76mm AP round. A *very* high pen-one, admittedly. - 90mm T44 HVAP from the T15 cannon used a 45.1mm penetrator, so it should pen 373mm and spall like 90mm T43 APBC. Imagine trying to balance Shermans with 75mm T45 punching 187mm while spalling like a 17-pdr, or 76mm M93 punching 248mm and spalling even more. Especially the Jumbos people never shut the fuck up about.
I don’t have a forum account to rant about this but the Sturmtiger’s gunner scope had its range notches disappear after the new customizable scope update. And finally they’ve fixed it only for me to find now the Churchill AVRE’s gunners scope has lost its range notches. Gaijin can’t fix anything without breaking something else in its spaghetti code game
Also when will snail remember that British 75mm and 57mm guns can shoot all kinds of corresponding US ammunition, so that both of those can get M61 and M86 APHEs, respectively? There is now zero excuse not to do so after buffing APHE further still.
