@@BangkokVoiceCoach you deserve it, this was one of the most pleasant reactions of someone listening to her for the first time I've seen, and I watched a couple of them believe me, all these reaction channels start making much more sense as soon as they got some Angelina on them :) - You not only displayed in your face in real time you got and enjoyed every little nuance and detail of her divine interpretation, you were also able to articulate precisely what you heard and why you loved it. We're all in for a ride with you, subbed to your channel for more please!... for me the follow up would either be "I'm Feeling Good" live 10 y.o. or "I Put A Spell On You" 9 y.o., depending on whether you want to go to the bright or the dark side of her spectrum, I mean both are brilliant, one shines like the sun, the other like a full moon...

Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sony & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻

She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rs language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru RUclips of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own.
Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Her Tic-Toc is full of these impromptu performances wherever she might be whether in the car, walking around the neighborhood or in a parking Garage. Accompanied by most often a simple guitar or piano her performances are always incredible. Add a band or even a full orchestra as in her performance for Quincy Jones at his request singing his arrangement of 'Fly Me to the Moon'. The same arrangement he did for Frank Sinatra. Since winning NGT she has sung for celebrities and heads of state and some of the biggest venues all over the world. The industry is well aware of Angelina's immense talent and her family were inundated by offers from the biggest promoters in the world. All turned down by Angelina and her family. They have protected her while she finishes school. Angelina finally signed with Republic Records a couple of years ago and has since released her 1st two original performances with 'Million Miles' and '7th Heaven' released at 14 & 15 respectively. The family waited till she had contractual control of her Artistic Vision. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. They call her the Boss and have immense respect for her.

Hello Robert - I always try not to listen before making a Reaction/ Analysis video. I do some background reading and then I orientate myself with the key of the song, which really helps my analysis . I’ve a fairly good sense of pitch but with a new singer it can be thrown a little. Angelina’s range is like a low mezzo soprano. She sings low E flat to mid E flat, a range of two octaves. Amazing for her age. I adore her innate musicality. It gives me lots of faith!!!

Congratulations! You just discovered the best Vocal Artist on the Planet! IMO This opinion is quickly being reinforced as her career is finally starting to I believe explode. I'm surprised there are still many who know nothing about her but again I think that is going to change. If you want to hear music listen to anyone. If you want to feel it listen to Angelina. Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrangement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition". What was unfortunately not to be seen here, all four judges came on stage to congratulate Angelina (very rarely). People who are new to her are always in awe that she's only 13 here. Little they know she has a 5 years of solid professional singing under her belt prior to this that date back when she won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. But the thing is....at any age this performance is beyond amazing. Not even mainstream artists of today could duplicate what she does here with the iconic Bohemian Rhapsody.

Her career is on a launch pad currently with Republic Records and they are building her foundation and are providing her so much resource. There are some great videos from her performances in Norway last summer recorded on mobile phones which showcase her raw talent. Her own song Million Miles sung at Kongsberg show cases her emotional connection with the lyrics. I’m sure you would love it. Like Amira, Angelina too supports much charitable work. What a lucky day for you. You’ve discovered one of the best singers you will ever hear-and, yes, I know you’re a voice teacher. What you heard today is amazing, but Angelina sings incredibly beautifully across many genres. Her voice is frequently mesmerizing, as you saw here. As you noted, she’s got you and the audience in her hand at the first couple notes. You’ll get so many suggestions for your next song. It doesn’t matter what genre, what age, what style. Watch her at 7 or now at 16. Just start listening. I’m in my 70’s, have followed music all my life. Angelina is easily, easily the best singer I’ve ever heard. She is literally a once in a lifetime talent.

The reason is that she and her family have purposely held back her career since her tv debut at age 7, in part so she could have a reasonably normal childhood. However, in 2020 she signed a contract with Republic Records, and is currently working on an album with them.

Amy Winehouse is one of her influences, however, her first and major influence in music is actually Billie Holiday. Dinah Washington, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, and Adele are other influences she has mentioned as well. This rendition is so associated with her, that Queen gave her the copyrights to this version of this song. Currently 16 years old, living in L.A., signed with Republic Records, and working on a new album of new music that will be released next year, 2023 is expected to be a big year for her!

I really enjoy it when someone with great knowledge of vocal abilities discovers Angelina. You are in for a wonderful ride listening to her from when she was 6 years old. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision. Angelina Jordan is top priority for both Stargate Production Co. Great reaction to a vocal tour-de-force! You've done it now. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (150+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice! Angelina works extremely hard at honing the obvious gifts she has been given.
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. She is a storyteller par excellence. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40-piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come. Her timbre definitely tells me she is going to be more of an alto as she gets older. As it is, she sounds like a thicker mezzo with access to lower notes. Her tone and timbre is so unique and beautiful. No matter how many times I hear her voice, I am always shocked. I am not to your level, but have taught voice for over 20 years and I am a bass vocalist, and cannot think of one single person I have heard sound this good at this age; her ability to dance around a pitch without full resolution is something many of the jazz greats took their whole lives to perfect... she was born with it, I believe.

Unlike most singers where you hear one song you can hear in your minds eye how they will sing the next. This is not true of Angelina. First check out I PUT A SPELL ON YOU age 9, Then IM HOLDING OUT FOR YOU age 10. Then ITS A MANS WORLD live age 11. Skip forward to this year SUSPICIOUS MINDS (definately the one in the antique shop is the best as her live concert the band revert to a more Elvis arrangement). Also this year her introduction of Labyrinths MOUNT EVEREST and Adeles EASY ON ME. There are about another 25 fvourites out of over 160 so that would be too long a list.what I want to stress is you can take 10 songs sung at the same age and she will be highly selective about which of her skills she will reveal.

Welcome to Angelinas world. What can we say about a girl that has been hounted by the music industri since she was 8 yo ? She has fans all over the world witch is insane when you think about that she only has been promoted by her angels ( fans ). Stargate ( record producers ) has comented once that she is freaking insanely scary talented and another time that she is one of only 3 singers they have recorded who only needs 1 take.
Angelina started with jazz but has later done almost all genre at a very high standard. I am sorry to say that so far she has not done any opera but she probely will one day.

It is referred to as "STORYTELLING" singing, and very few performers have this ability. AJ has elevated this to an ethereal level, and I at 75 have never experienced anyone else with this level of talent.
