- Sharing my thoughts on the Birkenstock EVA Arizona Sandal. How do they compare to traditional Birkenstocks, are they good quality, and how do you style them? The hype for birkenstocks is almost over where I live. But personally, I like them for everyday purposes. Will definitely buy one tomorrow.

I’m thinking of getting these for Christmas for summer because I’m in the Southern Hemisphere so it’s hot on Christmas. I live in Australia and most Christmas’s get to 30-40 degrees so yeah.
Jealous of the hot weather! It’s cold and rainy where I am and the birks are retired for the season 🥶

I bought both.
I didn't now I could style white Birkenstocks with suits.
I had a few cheap pairs from Amazon... and they popped after 3 months of wear... As a result.... I bought a pair of Birkenstocks yesterday!
I had a cheap pair at first too but they didn’t even last one season - my birks are still going strong 💪🏻

I don't own any but I just seen Victoria's secret has some baby pink ones, but I seen $50 and was like absolutely not because I'm not a big sandal wearer but I will spend money on anything that has longevity. I got the Target ones that look like the dupes but they are a hot pink and they remind me of some Walmart ones I got and loved but they broke at the exact spot you just said so this is my sign to get the Birkenstock instead LOL.

I read somewhere that it will shrink in hot environment like inside a hot car in the summer. Is it true? I tend to leave a pair in the trunk to change after work.
I have a pair in khaki. It just doesn't go well any of my outfit. Any suggestion?
jtcber thanks for watching! I haven’t experienced any shrinking personally but I just googled it and apparently hot car in the sun isn’t an ideal place for them and could cause issues. If you could park somewhere shady or bring them inside it would be best I think.
Does the birkinstock sign on the inside fade away?
Baldwin Alcones yes mine have! Not completely but some of it has worn off

How are they in hot weather? Are they as breathable as crocs?
cmata86 I wear them all summer long! They work great for me in hot weather. I don’t have crocs but I think these birks would be more breathable because they’re open.

I went with my regular size in these and they fit great - so probably just looking on their website and transferring your size to EU sizing would work. I think it would be around a 36? Thanks for watching!
Do they get hot fast if they are outside ? Like burn your feet lol?
Sadie Caroline thanks for watching! No issues of them getting hot when I’m wearing them but if the black ones sit in the sun off my feet (like at the beach) they do get hot for sure.
Did you convert US size to EU or just followed ur sizing 10 or 40 US and 40 in EU
On the Birkenstock website they have both sets of sizing so you can use either. 10 -10.5 US is a 41 EU on their site, I’m normally a 10 or a 41 so that fit me perfectly! Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😊

I think the EVAs are just in regular and narrow! Mine are regular and they fit the same as the normal cork birks. I would recommend checking out their sizing guide to see what would be the best for you
I had two pairs of knock off brand of Birkenstocks. My first pair I bought at Rue 21 in 2015 and broke them by wear them so much and they were too big on me. Then I bought another pair in 2018 from a store in the mall. They are Girl Madden brand. The soles (tread) on the bottom are ripping from wearing them a lot. I just got my first pair of real Birkenstock. I got them for $50 at DickSporting Goods. They are the rubber kind. I got a size 36 and the color of my sandals are light purple, white and coral. My grandma said that the rubber Birkenstock are good for the pool or the beach.
I love wearing mine to the beach! So much easier than leather birks. Appreciate you watching and I hope you love your new shoes!
I have the EVA I thought that they were rubber not plastic??
EVA = ethylene vinyl acetate which is a soft plastic, and not rubber unfortunately.

Do you have any tips for cleaning the white ones, I have had mine for over 2 years and I wear them all the time but they are getting discoloured and im not sure how is best to clean them up
I clean mine with my kitchen cleaner and a sponge - it's Clorox disinfectant bleach cleaner. I've also used Lysol wipes...might be a bit harsh lol but it works really well! I think the website recommends just soap and water but I'm sure you have tried that already.

liefvoetje thanks for watching! I do wear them with bare feet - it’s not bad. You have enough open air on the foot that I find it doesn’t get too sweaty.

Ricky Rivera I found the fit true to size - I have the same size as my regular birks and also the same size I would typically wear!

Oh no! I’m not sure - mine haven’t squeaked I’m sorry.
Did you figure out how to stop the squeaking? I just bought 160.00 poor of Burks and every step sounds like a fart, I'm so disappointed
Is the support the same as the original?
There’s support like the original but since it’s just moulded EVA it doesn’t form to fit your feet. I still find it very comfy!
same but softer than the cork, so comfortable, they could make the contours bigger
I absolutely adore a woman who wears Birkenstocks
My Birkenstocks (both left and right) started cracking where the straps join the sole after just one summer of daily use. Very disappointing considering that my corked ones have been lasting for years. Instead of making the exact copy of Arizona design, they should have reinforced the part where the front part of the strap is attached.
Sorry to hear that! I made an update to this video sharing that the same thing had happened to one of my pairs after pretty extensive wear.
I wish that they had re-enforced that area of the shoe as well, though mine are still totally fine to wear as it hasn’t broken further.
I hope your shoes hold up like mine have next summer!

They’re sandals* not shoes
EVA birks are not worth the money.
EVA is dirt cheap and molding technology is everywhere.
The sandal/slipper really cost less than $5.

I personally found my EVA birks held up a lot better than the cheaper option I tried first. It's great that you can get a similar style for a more affordable price though! It just wasn't worth it for me since I wore those ones out so quick and the birks have lasted years at this point.
