Set 300 years in the future, play as Jacob Lee - a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. Alien Isolation is gourmet survival horror. This and dead space are just regular action horror, that we have played a thousand times.

Dead Space was my first adult video game, and I followed that journey to it's conclusion. I am more than ready for this game to begin a new horror.
What's also great about Hollow's gameplays is that, if you're someone that gets spooked as much as Hollow gets in his horror games or even more than that, you get to see which parts of the game you need to be ready for, because Hollow already screamed from the top of his lungs for you. 😅 Sometimes I don't even play what he plays because I can't get myself to. I just watch Hollow's reactions. 😂

@@carbonm2 i preordered it based on gameplay and i can say that dodging is great weapons are cool the story is enjoyable. Wish it was a bit longer considering the hefty price tag but all in all its really good, 8.5/10

Watching you play this game is just so intriguing and engaging. This game looks really beautiful and I can already feel that the lore is so big that this is literally an interactive movie in itself. The devs took their time to develop and polish this game. I was actually already looking for episodes 2 and 3 right after watching it. Had to wait just a few hours, but now I have it both lined up for today. LETS DO THIS! 🙌🙌🙌

Played 3 hours last night and absolutely am enjoying the game. There’s definitely a lot of repetition with opening big doors and crawling through vents, but man the combat is intense!
Really amazing game so far. Don't get me wrong, this avenue has been done before, but it takes its own turns. It's beautifully done. Definitely want to see another episode. I really hope there are some twists and turns. 🤞

I’m loving this already!! Really looks like the alien isolation sequel we deserved all along. I’m proud of this company and their product so far! Story is intriguing and graphics are amazing. And the combat mechanics are lit!

The actor playing the security captain Ferris is the actor who played Deacon St John in Days Gone.
Phillip K. Dick wrote about the black iron prison in his book Valis. I’m sure the writing team pulled plenty from PKD’s works. Definitely interesting!

I haven't watched Hollow since I was a kid, I forgot about his channel that popped up on my recommendation and I had nostalgia. The 1st video was back already having me happy I'm glad I'm back to this channel again❤️❤️

Also I'm noticing the talked about micro stutters with UE4 on PC I've had no issue on PS5 and it looks just as good so glad I got it on PS cos those stutters look frequent asf

The dodging mechanics in this game suck. I feel like its hit or miss. Im pressing the correct buttons to dodge and sometimes i get hit and sometimes i dont... It really does get frustrating

@@jondagamer4466 it matters because I had beaten the game in my first playthrough of it without properly grasping the game mechanics. Thats why my second playthrough of it on Maximum Difficulty was much more enjoyable and i died only 14 times during the whole playthrough, most of it on the tram section. I really bumped up the score for the game after my second playthrough.
@@titlasagna2172 learning the mechanics of the combat is useless for me because im not doing a second playthrouh.

Loving the vid, but seeing Hollow go through the melee tutorial teaching him how to dodge attacks... then start wailing on the enemy of that same tutorial and going "how do I block.." was hillarious. XD I mean the tutorial just made it clear you're supposed to duck and weave for the most part.

These are my favorite horror type games. First it was dead space. Which was fricken amazing. Scary but amazing. Then Alien Isolation was scary and creepy. Now this game...just creepyyyyyy ahhh. It's giving me a mix of alien isolation and resident evil vibes. I love it.
This is such a nice looking game man. It's like playing a cutscene. Physics are spot on...graphics resolution, mesh, lighting and textures are IRL quality.

Tbh i think its cool how they made the interior of the prison look in the first area, they’re called panopticons and theyre actually pretty cool, if you guys remember Arkham Origins it was the final mission in Blackgate (but also, it doesnt make sense why they connected a bridge to the guard tower lol), but yeah anyway great stuff Hollow cant wait for the rest of the series :)
