Probably because one of the recent arks of omen basically canonised Chaos Sisters. Before, Mirielle was the only confirmed corrupted sister, a single character. Now, with the Khrone Murder Curse causing both Primaris marines and sisters in a system to turn traitor, chaos sisters and chaos primaris are now canon.
@@Vennnaya the funny thing is I was making a Khorne Bloody Rose army before Arks of Omen. The idea being they were stuck in Imperium Nilius fighting Khorne deamons until eventually instead of saying for the Emperor it morphed into,” BLOOD FOR THE EMPEROR, SKULLS FOR THE GOLDEN THRONE!” I was on a huge kick for Darktide at the time.
@@Vennnaya Ooooh that's interesting. I don't follow the lore closely, but I was planning to make my Chaos Sisters Khorne-themed so that works out perfectly.
Mirael was a Slaanesh worshipper, rather than a Khorne (skulls for the skull throne), so dead Aeldari would have been a good shout for the base, do love what you've done though! Great work!
For green stuff, you might want to try making the old mucky stuff, grab some of the yellow/brown stuff and mix that half and half with green stuff. It seems to be more workable for general purposes between the two though not quite as good for hard edges as yellow, but easier to work with than green
The greenstuff does look old and a bit dry, it should be soft all the way through. And a tip I learnt from watching Pete The Wargamer is that you should avoid the most inner part of the greenstuff-strip. So when slicing the greenstuff, remove the part where the 2 colors meet since that part can already have started to harden making the greenstuff harder to mix since its more stale as well risk of getting small lumps of alreade hardened greenstuff in the mix. So I would say, before Jen gives up on greenstuff, get her a compleatly new batch of it, mabe watch Pete's chanel's kitbashing vidoes and how he usese it as well as with what tools, and she might just come around and find the fun and alouring satisfaction of using it!
You definitely need to run this character in your sisters of battle army as a thematic piece to say what happens if your girls go too far into chaos dealing with demons and the occasional drinking of blood
For years I've had aspirations to make Mirael with a unit of fallen Sisters by her side. However I had planned on using Ephreal Stern as my base model. I figured the pose of the daemonfuge would translate well for a warp-touched character. The cannoness worked out very well in the end and does reflect the original artwork, I must admit.
If your fresh green stuff is too stiff try chewing it like gum. Its non- toxic and tasteless so it sounds worse than it is. It will mix the parts and add some moisture to the product.
My 5 year old son wanted me to post here that he really loves watching your videos. He says thank you. He is inspired to make his own creations because of you guys.
Awesome kitbash. Although if you wanted to go for a more lore accurate look, you could use a bloodletter's sword to give her the daemon sword she canonically wields.
Mixing green stuff with milliput always yields great results and is easier to sand down later as a bonus. Green stuff on its own is really unforgiving.
Jen's right; take it from professional sculptor Trovarion: despite its prevalence in our hobby, greenstuff is truly crap for sculpting. In the words of BDCF, you're literally sculpting with a material that's made for fixing holes in toilets. A cool flex, but impractical. Trovarion suggests the regular variety of Milliput for our purposes, and while it has its own learning curve, it's brilliant stuff. Smooths with water, alcohol soluble so you can thin it to the desired consistency with IPA (and as such is amazing for gap-filling), workable, sandable, durable. After a few weeks of trying the switch, I've not looked back.
This could be the leader in a diorama focused on the chaos Knight and sister of battle Knight. She could be trying to slaughter all of tye sisters for the blood god 👹
A REMINDER FOR GREEN STUFF!!! You should remove the area where the two meet because there will be a small strip of activated green stuff that will make little "cubes" appear in your blob of green stuff. If this is new to you PLEASE let the team know as it is super helpful in working with green stuff!
@@AshleyBlackwater yeah, I remember Dave saying that it was not behaving haha However, that was a while ago. Thought they might have procured new green stuff by now...
Great as always! Been wondering if it might be possible to "paint" miniatures with only art markers. Don't know if it might be worth exploring in a video or not but I for one would be interested in seeing it. Keep up the great work y'all!!
Heh, if that person on the Sisters their flags, is the Emperor, then they have already fallen. 😮 Think, what do the choas faction claim? That the Emperor is a corpse? 😢 A skeleton? Yeah, somebody toke the deathcult symbols a bit too far. 😅 Fun, right? 😊 Where is that Inquisition? 😂
Jen, have you tried to use different ratios of blue and yellow for your green stuff sculpting? As far as I know, which isn't a lot, I'm pretty sure that less blue makes the mixture more malleable, which might appeal to your "I like liquid green stuff" side :)
I wouldn’t mind seeing some Nundams haha. I actually had an idea for a Tau/Guard army where it was a planet that once was Imperial but the Tau took over and the Tau actually treated the humans worse than the Imperium so the humans rebelled and now use Tau tech against the Tau
I don’t think you’ve done it before, but I’d love a style comparison video, start with the same model, and have everyone paint and base in their own way.
highly recommend not using pure green stuff for sculpting. greenput is way way nicer. green stuff + milliput in equal portions is much nicer to work with. there are some good channels for tutorials too! I follow a lot of last light creatives tutorials. awesome conversion regardless! hope you keep sculpting
Ooh i had a physical reaction to the redone banner reveal. That was gruesome!! This is SO nice!! Vibrant ambient light in models is something I admire so much, and this was just beautiful!! Amazing job, Jenn!!
Wait wait wait... Hold on a second. You can sculpt with Liquid Green stuff?! That stuff has the consistency of PVA glue mixed with sand. Surely this might be a joke? Or have I just been dealing with a can that's gone bad for all this time and not realized it? 😅
I though I was on Pete's Channel
I was like another Pete vid so quick lol
Same.
Same lmao
Me tio
the thumbnail style so similar!
10:43 - "I went a-_head_ and started painting the skulls"
and (un)holy crap that flesh banner! So perfect
Been wanting to make some Chaos Sisters conversions for a while now, and all of a sudden everyone is posting about them. Talk about perfect timing.

25 seconds in: cheerful "Yaaaaaay!" as Cultist-chan Jen feels the Warp overtaking her.
It is a good pain!
If you mix your green stuff, mix equal size of milliput, then mix both together its much more malleable, give it a try.

Damn! I am digging the colour on this one. The purples and reds just scream Chaos
Getting mixed signals. Slaanesh Banner, Skull pile. SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE. Jokes aside the conversion looks amazing.

To make your "Nundams", you could kitbash either the Nobel Gundam, the LFrith, the Gundam Engage Zero, or my personal choice, the Woundwort
Yaaay this was so fun! You did such a great job with everything, she looks amazing!! More Jen please!!
Makes me want to start a fallen sister army😂❤
mix your green stuff with 50/50 miliput, it dries harder and is the perfect soft putty.
AWESOME MINI JEN!

The colors 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Have you svuys considered getting any of the JoyToy 40k figures to turn into personal desktop figures for your custom armies?
Extremely cool.

Awesome work, she's kick ass! And so is liquid greenstuff, I'm a total convert 😊
Khorne Repentia, Nurgle Sacresants and Tzeench Dialogus
17mins of heresy
Honestly, I’m getting really strong Khorne vibes from this model.
When did yous do something with the noviciates?
Don’t use GreenStuff 1:1, just cut a way some of the blue Stuff, makes it much Softer
I found Milli put is better if you ever need something more solid than liquid green stuff.
the paintjob on the skulls looks class 👌
The SOB are incorruptible! This is heresy!
There is a single sister who got corrupted their their entire history
Really nice model! I would. Love to see a full Kill Team of corrupted sisters!
Yes
Chaos Nundams.
Jenn is on fleek this week with her painting
she just continues to up her game. It's been very cool to watch
Skulls for the purple throne?
This could be the leader in a diorama focused on the chaos Knight and sister of battle Knight. She could be trying to slaughter all of tye sisters for the blood god 👹
🌚🌚🌚
Seriously loving how this turned out, Jen
Metal af
Just practice green stuff
"Noar. Noar."
Cool!
I agree on the greenstuff, the liquid one is so much better.
Always enjoy your conversion videos!
I would so love to see jenn paint lya mev new model
Great job Jenn

Think they mentioned in another video that their stock was fucked to, top layer is all hardened and doesn't mix well. Happens to really old rolls.

i thought the corset was fine without the greenstuff.

those skulls are amazing!
Alexis is a bat shit insane person, one saving Grace is she knows the lore and played this character damn well.
Awesome looking!
i literally print her today for my emperor's children army, kinda dejavu or something
Solo un error. En vez de la casa de Slannesh tenia que ser de khorne...... Los craneos no engañan...
BRUTAL
Another great video guys!! This channel never disappoints 😊
Would have loved a close up on the face

i really like the technique of having blue base with red zenithal on top
You should do the reverse. Make a chaos model a loyalist
I don’t think you’ve done it before, but I’d love a style comparison video, start with the same model, and have everyone paint and base in their own way.
mix the green stuff with milliput fine. Let it sit for about 20-30 min. Very nice to work with.
Nice conversion Jenn...and I would totally love to see some Nundam!
GASP! Are you painting the RageousCreations Nundam 3D Prints next? Or are you just referring to Paragon Suits
I think the tongue makes it more ominous

Jenn, this is beautiful. You really did a wonderful job! Let's see some Sisters robots.
Did anyone else giggle like a child at 3:48 ?😂😂
"I think I have a thing for Chaos colors..." says the girl with Slaaneshi pink hair. Who would have guessed ?
Bring on the Nundams!
Nundam Wings, Dave you should copy right that right away. 😆
I hope you try to kitbash some Roboutian Heresy models
Add some millput to your greenstuff it will change the whole way you look at it👍👌
Just saying… the whispheres started when Dave painted the runes on the titan

Mine isn't.
Tabletop time never fails to make amazing content, keep it up
Not enough skulls? No wonder you use GW products.
This is so cool! Perhaps... a Chaos sister of battle army next?.... maybe just a single model representing each chaos god as an experiment?!
I propose to kitbash Tzeentch-corrupted Sister of Battle from Seraphim Battle Sister and Flamer of Tzeentch
Use milliput instead!
I hope we get some official Chaos Sororitas models someday. After all, didn't some Sisters fall to Khorne's Murdercurse in Arks of Omen?
I'd love to see you guys kitbash some Loyalist Emperor's Children
This silence offends the Emperor
The fact that Mirael was Slaneesh and not Khorne is such a missed opportunity 😥
Just when I was about to recommended it.
No 'You're terrible Mirael!' joke, which is a shame but great mini
We're too young for Muriel's wedding
Amazing work
3:48 😮
Who doesn't like a bad girl eh?
Dope
Wow so cool
If anyone is looking for the arms, they are from the Elucidian Starstriders.
Lets gooo notif. Squad
Do you think worshipers of Chaos ever ask themselves, "Are we the baddies?"
