Difference of opinion could be when it’s hair cut at different lengths, but not shaven.

How did you learn all these quran verses and hadeeth? I know that you are hafiz of quran but what about the hadith?
The Messenger of Allah () forbade qaza'. Qaza' means having part of a boy's head shaved and leaving part unshaven.

@@mrs8768Exactly i get 0.5 tapers im not shaving the hair i.e like with a razor where the hair follicle is level with the skin, i am trimming. Also agree with your comment in another thread where you mentioned the context/time Hadith was said etc

Lower your gaze.. just focus on your workout and actively avoid looking around so that you don't gaze at any non mahram..
Go to some other machine if it's taken up..
Try going when gym is less crowded..
As for music, plug in your earphones and play white noise..

Salaams, can you please do a video on the differences of opinion regarding qaza. There are a lot of people in the comments trying to bash you instead of learning something. Jazakallah.
Abu Torab isn’t a scholar. I don’t think it’s good to encourage average Muslims (people like us or Abu Torab) to speak about Islam in a scholarly way, present the opinions, and give lecture-style dawah. Let’s not forget at the end of the day these vids are entertainment with dawah sprinkled throughout. The dawah in these vids is mainly stuff like tawheed, the obligation of men to pray in the masjid, prohibition of music, etc. Well known things which aren’t differed upon. This is the kind of thing someone at our level & his level should speak about. He encourages us to seek ilm and read books like Kitab AlTawheed for actually studying Islam. People should go to the ulama for lecture-style dawah or for fatwas, and just watch the lectures of the Ulama with English subtitles.
No one is bashing him, it’s brotherly advice. As Muslims we point out each other’s deficiencies. This strengthens the ummah. And his haircut is haram, you can look up the ahadith. Even besides qaza, it’s an imitation of the disbelievers. If you look outside the West, and look to practicing Muslim lands, Muslims do not cut their hair like this. Hopefully he sees the comments and changes it because other people could copy him.

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) saw a boy with part of his head shaved and part of it left out, and he prohibited them from doing that, saying to either shave the whole head or leave the whole head.
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a boy, some portion of whose head was shaved and some of it was left out. He prohibited them from that and said, "Shave the whole of it or leave the whole of it". Muslim.
