God, I remember checking weebls-stuff daily, and sharing the videos with people over MSN and forums and stuff. The internet was different then... all trees. Black and white trees. How has it been 20 years?
MSN messenger, there is something I have not thought of in some time. Back when I looked forward to getting off school to log in and chat with people.
@@RestlessThought same, only mine was AIM. Used that until everyone switched to FB messenger in college around 2008/9. Odd how so much switched to FB, I tried to resist it and continue with forums and everything else I used in the early aughts, but it was not to be.
I remember the first time I learnt to decode the page and managed to download the full weebl series so that I could watch offline.
@@Colonelloki I no longer use facebook and it changed nothing in my life. Apart from the fact that I don't have to look at people's kids or political hottakes anymore. Which is an improvement.

Mr. Picking and his animations were a huge part of my early experiences on the internet. I hope another generation of folks are able to enjoy this content, it's always been gold.

I am 25 and Weebl and Bob was my first introduction to the internet about 20 years ago. I annoyed my family for years of my childhood talking about pie.
I still have my original wobbl and Bob DVD with the extra special pie based stickers.
Still have the original dvd on my shelf. This made me feel old.
Man, this one hit me in the feels.
I remember checking the Weebls Stuff website every few days during my teenage years, waiting for a new episode to share with my friends. Sometimes we'd watch those original Flash animations on repeat until the audio went out of sync with the animation.
The ending really does capture how those of us OGs feel at the state of life, and the world at the moment. 2024 should have been so much more. Also...just went to check the Forums, and even those are gone.

Man it's crazy to think at the start of all of this I started watching you on Newgrounds as a child just starting to explore the internet on his own. Now 20 years later here I am, watching you on RUclips. My how the times have changed but some nice things don't seem to :) hope you are doing well and I can make this same comment again in another 20 years! :p

I was 8 years old the first time I saw Weebl and Bob. Now I am 28 so I guess the maths check out. Thanks for all of the great stuff over the years JP. I say "How Rare" so often that I forget that you started it and there are probably a hundred phrases that I say just like that. Weebl and Bob forever!

I cant believe that its been 20 years ago since my YT name was first created from watching weeble and bobs videos.
My first YT channel name was PIE .. but after 2016 it became beef due to other factors that destroyed the good name of PIE. But I too will always like PIE because of its weebley goodness.

Ah, I remember watching all weebl's cartoons back on Newgrounds back in the day. And checking weebl's stuff for updates. I was on the forum for a bit too. Alas, I was supposed to be studying for my GCSES back then instead of watching flash toons, hence why I now work in a factory.....

Good Lord. And to think, it was 20 years ago (or close to) when I spent so long listening to Badger, Badger that the video and the sound became unsynched from the micromilliseconds of difference in their timing and it was a second behind itself. College was a goofy time, and I have a very high patience for repetitive things, if they appease my adhd tendencies. I think I'd had it on loop for like...10 hours or something.
