OK Tom, I live in rural America, so I watch all your videos! Honestly, you deserve an editing award for this one! I don’t comment often, but seriously, this one deserves an editing award! Well done!
Which part? It looks the same as usual? Ave any of you actually edited a video ie you know about it or are you just sucking up? Every second video is cutting grass so they should be good at it by now lol. 😂❤
Another great video Tom, the drone footage and song choice was excellent, those drones are an amazing piece of kit. Never apologise for not getting a video out, think everybody who subscribes to you channel knows the hard work and hours you guys put in and how very true that the farm and animals come first.👍
The big tractor takes a lot diseal. I was at my local garage last month getting a puncher fixed on my jeep. A john deer 6155 pulled in for diseal 2022. Came in from UK to fill. It was just empty. It took 300 litters to fill. It was going to tfm templetough farm machinery to get service to sale on
All you subscribers understand you are a working farmer and if anyone doubts just watch this video, your are amazing and not only did you manage to film as much as you did but you found time to edit it as well. Thank you Tom for all your hard work and I am sure Dad will be well proud of you. Love to you Joanna, little bumb and all the team xxxx
Some farmers here in the USA hang plastic down the sidewalls from the floor up and over the walls and when done pull over the pile before covering with the main top cover
Hello Tom I'm from a long line of farmers. Four generations of farmers in my family. My Dad decided not to farm as he loved to build engines and race. I love watching you in your element. You are a natural born farmer , and you make farming look effortless. God bless you and your beautiful family. This was God's plan for you, and to help others learn how to the process works. Thank you for teaching us. And your such a pro at the videos. God bless you 🙏🏽
Crazy busy, but then you always are since you’re a dairy farmer!! Love the drone shots of the raking and the chopping. Makes it easy for us non-farmers to understand what’s going on. Thanks for another entertaining video!
The clamp looks full but then they just keep adding more, its amazing how much the grass compacts as a person who isnt a farmer this is so interesting. Thank you for putting out these videos! Love seeing how its all done Thank you Tom!
Wow just wow this video was amazing drone shots, song choice , the way it was edited just perfect. Thanks for all the videos Tom and never apologise for missing a video farming always should come first
Fastrak is a beast. My hubby used to work with a company that sold them. The music is always spot on. I love watching your channel Tom. Country girl at heart. Fantastic drone footage. Tractor pulling 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💕
Hey Tom, nice videos. Interesting how farmers across the world do things. Looking at the mold beside the walls we use plastic around walls on the inside of the bunks. Air can actually go through concrete. In addition, it keeps the walls from been worn by the feed. Have a good day!
Tom keep having fun and working hard. We don’t mind you having a life outside farming !!! Go to every wedding !! Just keep making videos when you can !!
If your Tonka Toy ( loader ) gets any bigger you are going to have to raise the roof over the silage clamp.😊 Great video with good Drone shots as well. Well done Team Pemberton 😊
Get some clingfilm under the black sheet. Put it under side sheets makes a lot of difference. Because it sticks to the silage, it helps with secondary fermentation once the pits open
Just goes to show that there is 1 man on earth who can multi task - driving in a straight line, mowing, filming & explanation all at the same time. Every credit, hope to see you tomorrow @ Lancs show.
@@TomPembertonFarmLife we got rained off 2day, but only after we'd arrived 🙄. Incidentally, your lovely cousin Dan helped my daughter on Thurs after a Fox's HGV pulled out in front of her on Ballam Road, writing her car off. The driver was abusive & blaming her 4 speeding (she has a black box so wasn't) & Dan stood up 4 her and helped move her car from blocking the road. He made sure she was OK until we arrived. A lovely guy.
you need an assistant !!!! ! but we appreciate all you show us and that was an impressive shift in catchy weather with the silage there..keep up the good work
Don't apologise to us Tom! It's a very busy time of year on the farm! Even humble moi, a computer programmer, got topped into driving tractor trailers to bring in the silage and I've been known to get the tedder round a few fields too! Great video, well worth waiting for! 😊
Hi Tom, wow you have excelled this time , so much done in such a short space of time. I know this was done under exceptional circumstances but it's no good to run yourself so ragged. It amazing how much you miss your dad helping out when things are busy but he deserve a break too. You farm work and the cows are the No.1 priority and if you miss a video here and there it's ok. Another great video of the life of a busy farmers. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.
We always do side sheets and it definitely reduces wastage at sides. Might be worth trying. We often use an old top sheet or something as well so it doesn't cost you ought
@@TomPembertonFarmLife Yeah, they seem soft, but then there are occasional hard straw stems and they poke holes, did that a year on a open onground pit, and we had massive spoils after that, next year used tires and that was when we figured it out when the pit was fine
Hi Tom great video well done getting that job finished. You can run the farm as good as your dad, he taught you well. But we all learn something every day I do. I hope we see Andrew in the next one, he always has lots of good advice about farming. Can't wait to see that new parlor going.
The most important thing we found with clamp silage is have enough wait on the sheet when I cover it one year we were lazy and didn't put enough tyres on and ever clamp we had that year was shit now we make sure that tyres are touching across the hole clamp and never had the problem again. If u did that u won't get waste on the top and we never use side sheets. Good video. Those harvesters drink loads, we go through 3000ltrs each cut now!!
Your production and editing is getting first class Tom, love your passion it’s what keeps you going 12/14 hours a day, and still look forward to the next day no matter how tired you feel 👍
I am surprised the dividing concrete wall in the barn doesnt fall over with all that grass and machinery pushing against it! awesome. Watching this with my red Pemberton Tea mug haha!

With how expensive everything is nowadays don't want to be wasting any.
Great video Tom. Not much room between the roof of that JCB and the shed. Quick is the best way to make silage.
