Why are so many star fragments falling?

They are programmed to fly at you if you're in the sky and far away if you're on the ground. They are rare for me honestly. I only saw 2 in 40 hours of playtime.

When you jump from a floating island, star fragments will frequently respawn around you. When you are on the ground, looking up at the sky, there is also a high probability of star fragments spawning, depending on your actions rather than the inherent trajectory of the star fragments themselves
