I worked all summer 1970 then purchased this machine. Had it serviced in 2015. Going back today because it won't stitch. Got my money's worth.

I have a kenmore 158.17511 model and the button won't push in to go in reverse. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks

My 1503 is a little older but is almost identical to this 1754. Mine has a lever for the length/rev control but everything else even the cabinet is the same. You need to slow down with the the more complex zigzag discs. Check the timing.

I have this machine!! Doesn’t look like it is threaded properly!! Try retreading it.

The + - knob on the back is for stretch stitches.
