I've only just realized. Both this and 'Purity' were based off The Collector as well as a fictional criminal case, right? Prosthetics seems like the pov of the antagonist, and Purity is more like what goes inside the mind of his victim. It's also worth mentioning that both songs have very contrasting endings.Purity's ending turns cries of an anxious person into anger, or possibly revenge. Meanwhile the ending in Prosthetics illustrates how a demented person's twisted desires turn into guilt, as he is tormented by his acts.Anyone else thinks about it the same way, or just me?

All the members present, sounding incredibly good, Jim with the guitar arrangements, Mick with the heavy rhythms, Sid with the scratches, percussion and the incredible drums, in addition to the Corey's uncontrollable and heartbreaking screams, simply the real slipknot.
Adrian Perez For 0:13 it would have definitely been Josh since Jim only played on Me Inside and Purity. Come to think of it, I think that site that got Purity taken off actually had something against Jim! They tried to get his only part of the album taken off but they spoiled the parade with Me Inside! Lol, just kidding but it would be funny if that ever turned out to be true.
Adrian Perez True, just a few days ago I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said, "My favorite album by them would be the first. Jim and Mick sound godly on that record." And this came from a guy who had been in the trenches at concerts with me for years, especially Slipknot concerts when the (sic)ness first hit. I explained to him who Josh is and the songs Jim actually played on.
Adrian Perez Both are pretty close, but I think yours is a little closer. Really the only way we'd know for sure is if Corey or Shawn listed it themselves.
This is my favorite album of theirs by far. Such raw, unhinged emotion. This album makes me wanna get off my ass and get shit done. This album has powers I swear.

After more than 20 years, it's still one of my 10 favorite Slipknot songs, I remember being fucking obsessed with this song, the atmosphere is unbelievably sick, this is Corey's melodic voice that I miss, when it didn't sound pop and it sounded sick, there are so many nuances to this piece of art from each member of the band, but Craig here did the best job. And now... you're gone, there are already 4 members who are not in the band. So sad.
Even if you run I will find you, I've decided I want you, now I know I need, If you can't be bought, Tougher than I thought, Keep in mind, I'm with you, Never left out fate, can't concentrate, Even if you run, You will be mine...
Loool I can imagine, I like hip hop, metal and other genres [that are not shit like most mainstream]. Most people are very ignorant about metal and they cant handle it and they think it's all satanic, yet they will listen to simple music with garbage content like nicki minaj and have the nerve to chat shit about metal.
TriggaPC Gaming lol yyeeaap totally. Especially in high school ppl were close minded. Music nowadays sucks ass and we cool ppl just have to accept the fact most ppl are idiots
TriggaPC Gaming [SPAR] It's probably an American thing to dislike metal and think it's satanic and all that shit... Because in Belgian it's not a weird thing to like metal :D
EvoSvex it was cool how it was made, clown was at his bar and he just started to bang on a keg and mick picked up his guitar and they just went from there
Did you also know that Chris's head is actually photoshopped into the picture, and on the later version they photoshopped Jim's purple hair onto the mask
lol I was listening to this at school today and my friend heard the screams in the beginning and looked over with the most confused expression on his face.
+Maria T I showed my 13 year old sister that and her face of horror was hilarious! I also love it when my music freaks people out, especially as most people don't expect me to listen to this sort of music. Seeing their reactions is so funny!
+Maria T For some reason your comment isn't appearing on here but I have the notification for it. Was it deleted? Idk but I agree! Although, the funny part is I don't look like someone you'd fear but I know what you mean. It is a nice feeling and very funny! :)
That feeling when you walk down a empty hallway at school and the beginning of this song starts you feel like you can take the fucking world over because of those guitars
Rest in peace superball. Joey will be missed, you left a legacy that cannot be matched. You are a beast behind the drum kit. All the members present, sounding incredibly good, Jim with the guitar arrangements, Mick with the heavy rhythms, Sid with the scratches, percussion and the incredible drums, in addition to the Corey's uncontrollable and heartbreaking screams, simply the real slipknot.
This song is so underrated it's so good.
REAL list on how it starts:
0:00 Mick
0:06 Clown
0:13 Josh/Jim
0:26 Chris
0:39 Joey, Paul, and Craig
0:43 Sid
1:32 Corey
Adrian Perez For 0:13 it would have definitely been Josh since Jim only played on Me Inside and Purity. Come to think of it, I think that site that got Purity taken off actually had something against Jim! They tried to get his only part of the album taken off but they spoiled the parade with Me Inside! Lol, just kidding but it would be funny if that ever turned out to be true.
Yeah, I was just making a statement for everyone to understand. Not everyone knows who Josh is
Adrian Perez True, just a few days ago I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said, "My favorite album by them would be the first. Jim and Mick sound godly on that record." And this came from a guy who had been in the trenches at concerts with me for years, especially Slipknot concerts when the (sic)ness first hit. I explained to him who Josh is and the songs Jim actually played on.
Yup, exactly.
By the way, whos list looks correct to you, this one or the other one
Adrian Perez Both are pretty close, but I think yours is a little closer. Really the only way we'd know for sure is if Corey or Shawn listed it themselves.
Really nice from Slipknot to upload all their songs
they didnt upload purity :'(
Purity they should've uploaded it and it's one of my favorite songs
sean lee they uploaded purity but only the live version
No, they did not upload any MFKR or Crowz.
@@slipknotmfkrlocust8843 i know this comment is 3 years old but I find in every slipknot comment section lol
THE WAY HE PRONOUNCES "CLENCHED" \\m//
You don't need friends when you have a Slipknot playlist
But a slipknot Playlist is better with friends :D
Very true
Hell Yeah
It will attract the true friends
@Elizabeht Winch verdade kkkkkk
Just noticed that craig plays the Me Inside intro sample also at 0:17
Yes there's a subtle sample played here
Ur such a legend to have noticed it 😂😂
This is my favorite album of theirs by far. Such raw, unhinged emotion. This album makes me wanna get off my ass and get shit done. This album has powers I swear.
hands down one of my favourite knot songs. the intro is just so tense i love how it builds
Even if you run, I will find you
I decided I wanted you
Now I know, I need
If you can't be bought, tougher than I thought
Keep in mind, I am with you
Never left out fate, can't concentrate
Even if you run
You will be mine!
Ah, fucking you will be mine!
Ah, fucking you will be mine!
Ah, fucking you will be mine!
I found you
Leanin' out of an open window
You laughed (my fingers clenched)
Too perfect, far too careless
I couldn't help myself, I just took you
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake (you brought it outta me)
Better make yourself at home
You're here to stay
You won't bother me, if you let me bother you
All the doors are locked, all the windows shut
Keep in mind, I watch you
Never leave my side, never leave me, fucker
Even if you run
What the fuck is different? man, I can't believe I'm doin' this
Dammit man I knew it was a mistake (you brought it outta me)
lyrics
Thanks
pure poetry
I really like how at 4:11 him screaming mistake is overpowering the chorus, to me it symbolizes that guilt has overcome twisted desires
This is seriously one of my all time favorite songs in general, it give me goosebumps.
"Damn it man i knew it was a mistake..."
how have i been a fan of this band for so long and never heard this? This song is literally one of the best ive ever heard from them
Paul's bass on this is so good
TODAY IS THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF SLIPKNOT'S AMAZING SELF-TITLED DEBUT AND THIS IS MY 2ND FAVORITE SONG FROM THE ALBUM. THE BEER KEGS SOUND AMAZING AND I LOVE THE EERIE VIBE.
ALSO, 20 YEARS AGO TODAY THEY WERE AT THE SAME PLACE I AM RIGHT NOW, SURROUNDED BY CORNFIELDS IN INDIANA.

Micks guitar on this song is just so eerie
I love the intro to this song it's so kick-ass to hear.
So sad.

When Paul gets back in the band
Skin Ticket, Eyeless and Prosthetics. In my opinion, the best Slipknot's songs.
+Andrei Macchi yassssssss
You want to knit some of my favorite songs from them in order
All of their songs yep from 1999 to now yep
Best album for me Iowa because 1 I was born the year it came out 2001 and they have awesome tracks on it
Scissors, Diluted, and Prosthetics.. all hit so hard.
The most authentic Slipknot album, one of the best in metal for sure
The energy is so liberating. People who don't listen this type of music will never understand
I wish I could’ve watched them practice this song in the studio❤️.
...honestly hes just expressing his feelings in way others may relate
Even if you run I will find you,
I've decided I want you, now I know I need,
If you can't be bought, Tougher than I thought,
Keep in mind, I'm with you,

Real
One of the most underrated songs , it’s so dark
perfect horror movie soundtrack
I love linkin park as well dude
(R.I.P chester bennington)
Exactly!
I cant get enough of this song or Slipknot
I just love the part that begins at 3:17, mick just shredding like a lunatic
I was in 9th grade when this came out. Id bring a little speaker to school and play this from my CD player walkman. Ppl were like wtf
Hearing this album is the equivalent of hearing someone reaching the ends of sanity.
the drum beats at 0:07 & the guitar shreiks at 0:45 gave me chills
Anyone else thankful VEVO didnt get their filthy, censoring hands on Slipknot?
you are so fckn cringe that hurts
Epic intro
Same here
EvoSvex it was cool how it was made, clown was at his bar and he just started to bang on a keg and mick picked up his guitar and they just went from there
Carepackage65 How do you know all that? Interview?
Carepackage65 Thanks :)
EvoSvex no problem
Miss you Joey and Paul!!
Legends

He was one of the most creative drummers in history of metal.
Thanks Joey!!
I hadn't noticed that corey is sitting on the album cover
I just noticed those are coreys hands on chris
corey is giving him a teebag
Did you also know that Chris's head is actually photoshopped into the picture, and on the later version they photoshopped Jim's purple hair onto the mask
I burped while reading this and almost threw up. It tastes bad. But yeah dude, awesome album cover
yo we got the same pic
underrated...
by being underrated
Maggot Forever not really
JDegalesTV nvm ur right
This is still my favorite album from them, with Prosthetics still being my favorite song by them.

This is the best love song ever made.
From 3.36 on the song just gives me chills everytime time. Specially those last "MISTAKES" screams
lol I was listening to this at school today and my friend heard the screams in the beginning and looked over with the most confused expression on his face.
RecklessxHabits don't you just love that? I love it when my music freaks people out 😃
+Carepackage65 saaame. i mean, my friend listened to The devil in I and the music video made her cry omg😂
Maria T that's fucking hilarious!
This shit was SOO GOOD LIVE
I remember when self titled came out...I was 13...now I'm turning 31 in September and still fucking love this whole album. Still a MAGGOT FOR LIFE.
you would have been 8 when this came out lol
The Screams of Corey 🤯🤯
Probably the most savage take ‘you will be mine!’

That feeling when you walk down a empty hallway at school and the beginning of this song starts you feel like you can take the fucking world over because of those guitars
so fucked up, i miss this slipknot.. such a gem
My favourite album...id say of all time but i cant pick just a single favourite , i love music too much
Rest in peace superball. Joey will be missed, you left a legacy that cannot be matched. You are a beast behind the drum kit. Soon as I first heard the news of your passing I had to come back and listen to this album. This being my favorite track off this album I had to pay my respects. Most brutal drumming I've ever heard at such a young age. A legend gone to soon.
my favorite slipknot song
