Love the sound of the 650 kawi chainsaw motor with the front side exhaust. I had the stand up 650. loved it. best ride ever. better than the 750sx and the ultra 150. Great ride. Would love to ride an x2 sometime.
That ugly mount as you call it on the Ocean Pro is a water diverter to keep incoming air and water from the hood from going down the engine when you do a sub. Owned 4 of these x2's over the years love them.
I rode a stock x2 a few times and didn't really care about it. Might be because it needs a 750? I think more power and tubbies goes a long way on these. I liked the waveblaster but not so much the x2. It seems like the Krash reaper or whatever its called is the best of both with a backflip engine in it......But that's for people who are into spending $12000 on a ski. I like buying $500 skis too.
Okay, I've had enough! I can't ignore the Reaper any longer. It's decided! I'm selling my house and buying a Krash Reaper. I will be living in my truck from now on. I'd rather be on the water than at home anyway.
I favor the X2 lol. Mine rips hard! Blasters resemble a couch to much for me. I like the challenge of a ride. 1st thing this guy needs is a killswitch lanyard on it other wise it might keep going when he falls off lol.
JetSkiJarrod and then. You let the rear end sink and then you can walk the dog. Nose up and balance it. I freestyles this ski back in the day. Look up Jeff Kantz, one of my mentors from when I raced and did freestyle.
If you don’t mind me asking what does the kill switch look like the one I got is turning over but I guess the original owner took it off and will not start
Kawasaki should bring back the X2, just moderized. Such a great design and so fun to ride. I grew up on one. Awesome times
They did in 2008, 2nd generation x2.look it up.. it's not sold in the United States.
Krash makes one..
Nice score, my dude. And good on that guy for keeping his word and holding it for you. That's awesome.
@@zeero311 Alas, maybe this winter, my friend. Maybe this winter.
Thanks man! He was a great dude and was happy when I sent him pictures of it back on the water
This is awesome bro I’ve picked up 2 in my life time for 500$ too just subscribed can’t wait to watch more

They are a blast they are just as fun as today's Sea-Doo Spark
Scored! I been ripping my X2 since 1986 , not the same motor of course but I got s750 big pin in it now
Nice find
Those thing are fun to ride
So clean. Love the videos man keep it up
Thanks bro!
JetSkiJarrod check mine out too!
I've always wanted one of these. Here in Texas. People want crazy money for them. I'm talking 2k and up. Wish I could find one
Carlos C where do you ride in Texas?
@@JetSkiJarrod mainly Arlington lake because it 3 miles down the road. But once in a while I will go to Joe pool and ray hubbert when we take the boat

Interesting, ill take it off and paint it now that I know what it is.. never seen one before thanks man
Might want to instal a bilge system for those hard carves
Yeah man I usually do, she doesn’t take on too much water and with a stock 650 you can only ride so hard
Looked like a home made bracket for the throttle and choke cables since they got rid of the original flame arrestor.
What all is done to it like exhaust, carb, and what pitch impeller?
It’s all stock besides the impeller, I’m putting some mods on her soon though.. sudco blue and a west coast pipe
yea that thing is not totally stock she sounds like she rips!!!
Bro that thing rips lol

I’d take a blaster over an x2 any day but I couldn’t go wrong with having a clean little 94 for 500 bucks
@@Weeble_Warbles OH gosh yeah. Maybe some day we'll put a dirt bike seat and big motor in an x2 and it will be close enough.

Jacob Superjet Jet SKI those 650s can get beefed up and be fast with a head, exhaust, carbs, intake grate, and impeller
Got my hand on a 1989 x2 completely stock for 120 and in California no less he also got a 1984 kawasaki js440 for 120 but idk if I should buy it
I got both😳😂
I picked up one off of offerup for 390
First ski I ever rode.
Sounds like a stock ride plate. Stainless prop and a good ride plate. It will suck itself to the water.
dirtcurt1 what ride plate do you think? It’s already got an aftermarket impeller
What's its top speed?
Hayden's electronics! Probably low 40s 44 would be my guess
Yo how do you the 180 skids like that?
Stagger your feet, turn hard and kick the rear of the ski out

christopher perusic it’s the gray switch on the left side of the handlebars has a red and green button on it
How are you taking off so easy ? I want see camera watch you, not pov.
Balance, have the ski idle set a bit high, and practice goes a long way
horrible
What?
