Hi everyone,
After Taking 2 days trip to Vijayawada, After 20years I Explore Wagon Work Shop Colony and i miss my colony/School & friends and olden days.
I shot my experience and here is the Wagon Work Shop Colony video in 4K.

Location:Rayanapadu wagon workshop, Guntupalli is located at a distance of about 12 kms from the Vijayawada Railway Station.
So, in this video these are the things which I have talked about in Detail:
1. About WAGON WORKSHOP GUNTUPALLI
*Wagon Workshop, Guntupalli, was sanctioned in 1973.
*Foundation stone was laid by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India on 7th April 1974 at an estimated cost of Rs. 27 Crores.
*The workshop was commissioned on 16th July 1976 by Shri K S Rajan, the then General Manager, South Central Railway.
*This workshop is situated at a distance of 12 km from the historical city of Vijayawada and located on the banks of the river Krishna.
2. Visit Railway hospital.
3. Visit Railway High school.
4. Visit Railway Institute.
5. Visit Quarters Type 1,2,3,4,officers Blocks.
6. Visit Ramalayam, Sai baba temple
7. Visit Post office/Small ring (Smt. Indira Gandhi Statue center) /Big Ring (Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Statue Center
8. Visit Wagon Work Shop

This is Chandni....Thanq so much for gathering us , by watching this video i felt that it is like a re union....I felt happy for seeing our Railway school....I felt panic being missing it...i studied in Railway High school...I had many memories....we stayed in Type 3 Quarters....really it is an amazing feel to see entire colony., As u said many of us who studied in Railway school were settled in our life's very well.Im working as Principal in Narayana School....being a principal I do recollect our school days....

I remember our Head master Rama Krishna sir.... Science teacher Vijaya Lakshmi mam , Maths Surya prakash Rao sir, Physics Kadambari mam and so on.....

I could not remember your father.l was in colony for 37 yrs I was in qrs no 147/F. from my appointment to retairment 1980 to 2917.
I have enjoyed the video.now I have settled in Chennai.my sons and my brother daughters studied in railway school and they are in abroad now.recollecting my memories in colony. once again thank you

Thank you for this beautiful vlog, which brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood. I studied in KV2 and my sister went to Railway High school. Institute stages were great occasions for school annual days. We lived very close to the institute. From our balcony we loved the lights adorned on the institute when there were big weddings. Like your karate, I picked up playing table tennis at the institute. My dad used to read newspapers at the institute. There was also something like a welfare centre where my mom learnt stitching and beautiful embroidery. As kids we loved to travel on 'Work men' to do a Vja shopping. I left the colony 23 years ago to do my engineering elsewhere and the last time I visited the colony was nearly 14 years ago, the week when YSR had a helicopter crash. The colony had already changed a lot by then. My dad retired 10 years ago and he felt really special watching the video. This was a beautiful recollection and memory of a bygone era. Thank you very much!
