To anyone out there struggling with drug abuse, just remember that Ronnie got kicked out of Escape The Fate for it, got cleaned up, got an entirely new band, and now look where we are. That first Escape The Fate album was dope, and it was his voice that made it. The albums after just didn't feel right without his voice. To whoever is out there that helped get Ronnie clean, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If I remember correctly, he got kicked out of Escape the Fate for going to prison after being associated with a m*rder. Basically the band didn't want to wait for his sentence to end (which was several years) and kicked him while he was behind bars. He then created Falling in Reverse after getting out. Hence the whole "Raised By Wolves" song which is still my favorite by the band. But it has been so many years since that shit went down that I could be mistaken.

@cullenseago1519 it wasn't a bar fight. They had met at a specified location to fight. Someone with ronnie brought a gun and shot 2 people in self defense, killing 1 of them. Ronnie brought brass knuckles and got 5 years probation. Then he violated probation and was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison

Been a metal head since I was 6. 23 years going strong. In the black community was laughed at for liking what I like. Been following Ronnie since escape the fate and falling in reverse. He’s a fucking monster. I’m slowly getting into hip hop and interested in more rap now due to him.

This song was an absolute flex to prove that he can hang with the best of the best in any genre from rap/hip hop to rock/metal and every in between. No one can touch this man
It surprised me how good he was. I watched a live version and it was just as good. He has said for a long time that he loves hip hop and has done some stuff with it but nothing like this!
The rapping and theatrics are amazing. Idk if it makes sense but this seems like his most confident song yet. I feel like we left the experimental phase and now we're getting what he's been practicing for.

Totally! I think 'The Drug In Me Is Reimagined' and 'I'm Not A Vampire (Revamped)' can be used as prime examples (of many) that showcase his versatility and talent. He took two upbeat songs, both of which even had humorous hooks in them and completely elevated them. Even those previously humorous hooks completely changes context and gives it emotional depth with his updated versions and what we got were two powerfully raw and theatrical ballads. It's quite astonishing to say the least.

Ronnie hit Eminem levels of badass by the end of the rap bit I got Rap God vibes and then we were straight into rock/metal vocals 😂 Him and his band are on a whole different level fr. I knew Ronnie could rap but I never knew he could rap like this and still make the whole song flow together seamlessly. This is also a song that doesn’t repeat any parts, it changes throughout.

There's something to be said when a song leaves you speechless in a good way.
Notice that there was no filler or chorus. It was all seamless evolution and a demo of mastery of different genres.. You could take any section of this song and have a genre expert critique it and find the work to be top tier quality. What I loved about this experience is the way the genres were appropriately organized based on intensity. You started off with slow rap, then faster and faster to Rap God mode but after that you need a new genre to convey that level of anger and now you have gone to metal and death metal. This was like watching a musical nuclear reaction.

I'm surprised no one's talking about the production talent that is Tyler Smyth. He's produced many of FIR's songs, and he's also known for producing I Prevail's TRAUMA album (a masterpiece), as well as his own band, Dangerkids (another metalcore/rap fusion band). He's a legend.

I was blown away from this song. I never got into them, but this song got me all kinds of goosebumps. The insane transition to fast rap like tech9 and Eminem, to blast off heavy riffs and metal screams. It had epic ridden all over it. If the new album sounds this good, I’m definitely gonna get it and super excited.

I just listened to this for the first time last night and I was really taken aback. So, I grew up in the era of when Nu Metal was really popping off. Obviously it crashed and burned but this band, it really feels like it's not only a revival of it but the next evolution in the genre. The metal riffs are amazing, his metal vocals are amazing, the drum set is next level, and obviously his bars are reminiscent of Em. I can easily foresee a lot of up and coming aspiring bands looking at Ronnie and his band thinking, this is it. This is how we make a name for ourselves because this is the next step in rock/metal/hip hop music. Maybe I'm out on a limp here with all of this but that was my immediate impressions of this work of art. Brilliant music, once again.

I honestly feel like every single person who watches that video for the first time has no choice but to take their own silent pause at the end of it, some longer than others, but everyone. This is the kind of video that hits you in the face like a sledgehammer. You literally have to stop and process what you just witnessed when it's all over. The song and video are a masterpiece.

You know, he had to leave Escape the Fate and what not, but I'm glad he did. Ronnie doing his own thing is the greatest thing ever. He's thrown out 3-4 singles in the last 2 years, and they've been my favorite that FIR have done. This is probably my favorite thus far.
