I’m saying Ronnie is the handshake because this new direction he’s driving the band in is forcing “Hip Hop Heads” to delve into the metal/ post hardcore genres.

As someone who was a fan of Ronnie when he was with escape the fate, and having grown up on him, his evolution from pop punker to today is mind blowing. As a metal head I seriously love the hip hop community response to him. Ronnie is the rare talent that can make complete 180 turnarounds from what he was doing and turn into a completely different genre and still have it feel complete natural.
Bro you just blew my mind xD had no idea he was in Escape the Fate, even though I listened to This War is Ours pretty much constantly when I was in high School.... Learn something new everyday xD

I caught that Disney line too. For the ppl that don't know, this line has 2 meanings. Disney's creator was a Hitler supporting Nazi, not to mention the evil shit they used to put in Disney movies. I’ve been waiting for this reaction.💯 This song is so fire. Ronnie did a interview recently saying he wanted to do something no one else has and he pulled that shit off and made a banger. He’s rapping is from him growing up on it and looking up to the OGs like ‘Em, Dr etc. He just showed the world and all the haters that he can do multiple genres in one song. Ronnie and the boys of falling reverse just gave everyone s Middle Finger. Their videos are like mini movies and it’s crazy.
He actually said he wanted to do what no one else can do, and he pulled it off. He's right when he said name someone else that does this without hiring a couple of other guys. There's nobody like him.
Agreed. I didn't know who he was when he was with Escape the Fate, but I liked them anyway. Bought the album, then fell i love with Falling in Reverse, and found him on RUclips. We were a bunch of white boys that loved rap too, and banged mix CDs with Biggie, Korn, 2 Pac, Metallica, Reel Big Fish, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Nas all on the same CD. This is the first time I've heard something that truly bridged all genres. It's sad he won't get any credit for doing it, but hats off to Ronnie for this song. It stands for everything that he is.

Hands down, one of the most talented artists..I mean, the dude's ability to spit rhymns, the build up and setting up each progression is crazy and then on top of that, his vocal ranges..He pulled off like 3-4 different vocal styles and he was hitting some high notes. Just insane such an artist exists..

The riff immediately after "watch the world burn" gets me every time. This song gets my blood pumping for sure. Never was a huge fan of rap, but holy hell, from start to finish this song is good stuff. The sudden ending makes me wonder if we're gonna see a "part 2" at some point, though it could just be a troll just to piss us off and leave us wanting more.
