    INFJ Life Coach Lesson: Today we're talking about why a true INFJ is so extremely dangerous. We INFJs carry this trait within us every single day of our lives, and still, most of us don't take advantage of it. We don't wanna tap into it. We actually bury it deep down within us because we are afraid of its power. We are afraid how people are going to react. We are afraid that we're going to get abandoned, that people are going to judge us, when in the end, it's just a necessary component to becoming everything that we can be. As INFJs, we have to learn one thing for sure. It's not going to be enough to learn things and to gather information. We already do this. The thing that we, as INFJs need is to learn how to take action and how to want to take action towards our INFJ Epic life.

    If a bully is coming at you negatively, that means they are looking for a reaction and picking a fight. Just like with a toddler throwing a tantrum, they best way I've found to deal with it is firm detachment. Sometimes saying "I shall not respond when spoken to in that manner" or "when you can speak to me in a calmer way, we can resume this discussion. " It takes away their power. I usually lose in battles of heated confrontation, so I will withdraw access until the other person plays by my rules.

    • @jewls808
      @jewls808 4 месяца назад +17

      I think it’s part of human nature, also culture, upbringing and how they were raised…childhood issues and trauma. Insecure women are usually male oriented, they’ve been groomed and programmed to seek male validation and approval. Your beauty gets in the way of their being “chosen” by a nearby male, who is most likely insecure as well and using the situation as an opportunity to gain access to you. Your natural beauty, which you have zero control over, is a boost to his ego. It also causes fear in them, so they’ll try to “bring you down a peg or two” lowering your esteem and confidence, all for their insecurity.
      Observe your circles and identify triangulation. Then steer clear of the deeply insecure male and female. They will harm you. Ensure you are working on your own mental well being and that you have a community and strong bonds around you.
      Most of all, trust your instincts and intuition, it’s rarely wrong.
      I’m sorry you have to experience this, it’s an unfortunate reality.

    Re outshining others, as an INFJ - yes we INFJs have fantastic qualities, and its in our nature to be modest about them (partly not to make others uncomfortable, partly because it seems ego driven, partly for fear of tall poppy syndrome) - but the thing is, nature didn't only give INFJs the good - it gave each type a specific unique slice of the good. Together we different types make up a whole, we dont serve that by feeling shaded, or reluctant to shine - each of we different types needs to fulfill the best of what we are - and part of that is each individually dealing with our own fears - with how another person feels their problem to deal with positively, not ours if we are already doing that.

    I'm a big believer that we need to take responsibility to live good, rational lives. And these decisions are easier to make when we know ourselves better. When I listen to your explanations, I appreciate the fact that you emphasize how we can take personal responsibility for how we handle what we were given to work with.
    To be honest, sometimes putting this into action isn't always emotionally easy. But I have found that allowing myself to do something emotionally difficult, helps. In the upcoming weeks there are things that I really don't want to do, and in fact, am a bit afraid to. But listening to this video and concentrating on taking action and leaning into my independence - well it will help. 🙂

I stopped keeping the plaques on my office wall. I noticed that people would see them, and their faces would change. I could see that they felt "small" or inadequate somehow. We INFJs have to constantly hide ourselves in order to preserve the dignity of other people.

    "Showing the other cheek" means you turn around and leave. That's how you show your other cheek.
    That sentence from the Bible has been distorted.
    You can't turn around without showing your other cheek unless you walk backwards instead of forward.

    • @lindateuling7862
      @lindateuling7862 3 месяца назад

      It's interesting that you say that "Turn the other cheek is misunderstood.". What you wrote here makes sense. Also there's another explanation as well, having to do with the culture of the Israel in which Jesus lived. It was forbidden to strike someone with your left hand. The left hand was reserved to do the "dirty work" (they didn't have electricity, indoor plumbing, and (to be blunt) toilet paper. So during the workaday routine the left hand was reserved to do the more icky jobs. So striking someone with your left hand had legal implications, and it was forbidden
      Notice that Jesus said that when someone strikes you on your "right" cheek, turn the other cheek. The only kind of slap that Jesus could be referring to was a backhanded slap from the right hand that was reserved only for people who were in a supposedly in a so-called "upper position" and was only administered by a person in a so-called "upper position" to the other. (Servants, slaves, children etc.).
      When the person who was slapped would turn the other cheek (the left one) it would seem as though it would leave them in a position to be struck hard with the other person's right hand. But there was a catch. A direct blow from the right hand to the left cheek was only done between equals. (There were legal implications there, too). So Jesus was actually telling them to turn the other cheek for a blow that wasn't going to happen.
      You can find this information on Google. I'm currently reading a book by the late Bible scholar Walter Wink who explains this in detail. Even the idea of "going the extra mile" had fascinating cultural implications for its day. It's quite interesting to read about, whether you're a Bible believer or not.

    I think... This whole youtube channel is the most extroverted Ni-Ti loop I have seen so far.
    In a theatrical sense, because other Ni-Ti loop usually collapsed on its own weight, this one is trying to gain more density to do so.
    MBTI is a cognitive function based. And it is also additionally preferrential in the developmental aspect.
    Definitively INFJ is one of the rarest in population and definitively the margin is ... Huge.
    But those two facts arent mystical nor supernatural. The very dry and matter of fact explanations, or rather, known underlying mechanism of the statistics make it very silly to the point of insulting every single time the statistics is parotted again and again.
    Yes, the underlying mechanics of it suggested the very vivid fiasco and loneliness INFJs will have to experience. INFJs themselves know this way before it happens thanks to their Ni function.
    I dont sit well with the uncanny possibility of this all being a feed on their insecurities and weaknesses. It definitely feels very nice when someone says their inner intuition outloud. Especially so when it is a negative ones, as normally people dont want to talk about this.
    Sure, our Ni cousin have Te as auxillary function to keep them in check, while our Fe function is probably overcapacitated by all the absorbing . But our Se function is still there to develop. And we can utilize Fe for ourselves too.
    Again. MBTI is supposed to be based on cognitive functions. Behavioural and affective (emotions) are not its domain, albeit the three (cognitive behavioural and emotions) are interlinked. Ive listened to your videos. And I cant really ignore the sensational title and visual representation unless I switched of Se and focused Fe and ignored Ni and Ti momentarily. Feels like a spark of a Fe related cue to fuel a fire sustained by Ni-Ti loop. Sure, being an INFJ usually referred by the first two cognitive functions. But ignoring the other two, even without considering the theoretical framework it is based on, that is similar to ignoring the experiences of many INFJs that utilise and developed Fe and Se in a self improvement way.
    Do I need validation? Yes. Do i need to demonize everyone else to be validated? Huh, Wait. Why do I need validation again?
    Sincerely. An INFJ who feels like there are too many second hand feelings here so much so the "vibes" are ... Artificial with intent.
    Being INFJ is hard enough that I dont think making it artificially harder is to anyone's benefit.

    • @NexEddy-vj5nj
      @NexEddy-vj5nj 4 месяца назад

      Let me put this in a tldr version..
      Which part of this whole youtube channel premise is... An Ni-dom cognitive function preference?
      In this video specifically... What exactly is this "dangerous"? Who defined it and why? And why "dangerous" is the nomenclature of choice? And why persistently so?
      The advice seems good? Sure. But are the intuitions... Good? Or rather introverted? I mean, INFJ is an Ni dom with Fe aux, in comparison to INTJ as an Ni dom with Te aux.
      Are the advices a good introverted intuition? With Fe aux?
      There is definitely a lot of Ti sprinkled. Without Se informed.
