They did this multiple times and pushed back advancing waves of enemy.

@TEXOCMOTP They have never said Ukraine doesn't have the vessels or the ability to remove sea mines. They warned about drifting mines. They also warned that over a month ago. If you have large fishing vessels you can remove mines if they are not drifting.
I carried an FN FAL in the Canadian Army, and in the Falklands the British had the FAL in semi-automatic and the Argentinians had the FAL in full automatic. But the FAL was uncontrollable in automatic.

As to Cap's comment about the Falklands war as being a *'gentleman's war'* and being really 'mean, as war tends to be' , you should keep in mind one thing. Relatively few civilians were killed in the Falklands conflict as both the British and the Argentinians made an effort. I'm not really sure that it can be described as a _mean_ war especially in light of a recent conflict that has really laid into non military targets.

Rightly or wrongly is not my concern. But the first NATO gifted tank driven by a Ukrainian or not, that crosses into Russia. Will result in the use of tactical nuclear weapons on Ukraine and the supply lines in Poland and elsewhere. Then all bets are off. Ukraine is simply not worth it. Just let the ethnic Russians have self determination and be done with it.

Both the UK and Argentina forces used a version of the SLR and GPMG general purpose machine gun. Both 7.62mm ammo. Only difference was the UK SLR was semi automatic (1shot) the Argentina version had full automatic capability hence why the UK forces kept using them when captured.

They weren’t oil rigs. They were Gas field survey platforms. Looking for oil and gas. Like all things in the war. It’s technically a war crime to intentionally and indiscriminately target civilian forces I infrastructure; with no military value. There were no pumps or refinement equipment on the barges. It was an attack out of spite. Because the Ukrainians are incapable of attacking snake island or anywhere else of value.
I think you'll find Snake Island was downgraded again pretty quickly via a raid of drones taking out the the RADAR complexes followed by a couple of SU-27s.

The "blockade" and cutting of exports isn't up to Russia. Turkey and Russia both made an official joint statement that they could provide humanitarian corridor by sea to export the grain, providing that Ukraine demines the shore, that's the reason the grain cannot leave. Further, the exports of other goods are not blocked because Russia does not want to export, its because of the sanctions that Europe and the US imposed on Russian goods; oh how the turn tables.. Edit: spelling, because I'm a moron!

Anyone know why do earlier SAM systems give a missile launch warning, but the SA-22 Pantsir does not? The SA-22 is still uses a radar command guidance missile, so why don't the RWR's pick that up?
Well, yes, Russian light AAs can drive aircraft away from troops even 40 km away, although an aircraft can evade missiles at that distance. In order to be guaranteed to hit the target, they simply let it get closer. It all depends on the tasks assigned to the crews. There were no troops in the middle of the sea to protect them.
The pantsir is 14million$ for export. Just the production cost can be less than half of that. Also, the Russians wouldnt fire those pantsirs until you reached attack range. Especialy after firing a few pantsirs and see that they are missing.... Apart from that I dont think that the AAA of pantsir (its 30mm not 35mm) would miss that badly. If you check out some firing clips it has a decent spread covering a large area with bullets, something would score a hit. Finaly, the marines on the island will certainly have some manpads with them.
I think it's important to explain more of what Cap was saying about class in the UK. What he said about UK being a class-based society is actually Cap mixing up class consciousness and class solidarity with the classes themselves. To break it down further, think about how nearly every society on the planet has the classes Cap mentioned: working class, middle class, and upper class (i.e. poor, middle, and wealthy). It's not correct to say the UK has a class based society as opposed to anywhere else, say, America for instance, where we obviously have a working class, middle class, and upper class. I believe what Cap actually was talking about (and give him a break people, these things aren't terribly obvious or easy to think about) was that in the UK people are much more AWARE of what class they belong to (this is class consciousness) and that people of one class tend to stick with people of the same class, follow similar behaviors, and group together to solve the problems their class faces (this is class solidarity). Because people in the UK group themselves in this way, they've ended up with a society with much more defined differences between the classes, and thus noticeably different behaviors when interacting with each other as Cap noted. Contrast this with America, where again we obviously have a working, middle, and upper class. However, due to decades of deliberate propaganda, hostile behavior, and manipulation (read: by the upper class) the working and middle classes have tricked into fighting each other or engaging in other self destructive behavior. This has not only ruined class consciousness (people are now unaware of what class even is and which class they belong to or are unwilling to admit it) but also class solidarity (the classes are too busy fighting amongst themselves to work together and solve problems). This has resulted in a very different society from the UK. Lines are blurred, social groups are fragmented, and you have much less obviously and clearly defined differences in behavior amongst defined groups. All this is to say that Cap is still hitting upon a very important point when talking about classes and society, just that he was missing a few key details. Anyway, great work Cap, the videos just keep getting better! TL;DR Cap noticed UK classes are much more defined and obvious due to historical reasons, but missed that in most other places the rich have deliberately meddled with lower classes to pit poor people against each other and blur the lines for their own benefit. Eat the rich.
Why would the Pansir shoot all missiles if it didn't have a good radar track? This is just insane, if a plane like a flanker is within the engagement envelope it is dead but in this game the guys in charge of the systems must all be drunk as to shoot 40+ missiles and get no hits Also one flanker did a loop right over the island and three Pansir all missed with guns. These guns can track and destroy incoming missles

The issue with this video is 1) the Russians have not been able to beef up the defense on snake island because they keep getting taken out. 2) there was an air strike on snake island by Ukraine a few days ago using two su-27 doing a bombing run. The video is online.
If these missiles are accurately modeled and as long as the US/NATO jets have the intel that they're deployed, they're essentially worthless. The US has had decades to perfect their SEAD/DEAD training and methods and has surely reverse-engineered every Russian SAM ever made via clandestine acquisitions (Boris selling Russian secrets or picking up a SAM system from a dark alley somewhere). Combine this with poor Russian maintenance of their jets, overhyped stealth characteristics of the Su-57, and fewer training hours for their pilots, and I don't see Russia being a huge issue in any large-scale encounter (if they ever decided to attack NATO). That's not to say they should be underestimated officially. But as an observed and amateur analyst, this war has truly flipped the perceived threat of Russia as a world military power. Back in mid-February, they were seen as the largest threat to the US and NATO as a whole, and now that would clearly be China, followed by a second tier of countries on par with Russia such as Iran and Pakistan. Putin truly gambled it all and simply lost.
PS: I typed this before the boys decided to get bored, be more aggressive, not listen to all warnings, lag out, and pull negative g's for two seconds resulting in a blackout. Hah.

In real life, all 21 Uragan rockets were intercepted, 13 out of 15 UAVs attacking the island were shot down, the Bayraktars were forced to retreat and struck the undefended oil platforms instead. And were then destroyed on the airfield they returned to.

Regarding the wheat export blockade: Firstly, Ukraine mined its own ports for fear of naval landing. It cannot be used until demining ops are done. Secondly, they can export their wheat through the ports of Poland and Baltic States (via Belarus).

I think they Would, because they see your flying group and your demonstration, and could be quite possibly using your techniques in later missions. Remember when you guys did that scrape run with the three different planes the 18, A10 & B1B lancers, You remember just a few days later The US military responded with a 10 warthog pilots talking about how uneasy it would be to actually do a scraping run on a convoy like that. And right after that their convoy broke into three different groups. So you never know, you guys doing your simulation. You could have very well screwed up a mission.
What I don’t understand is why the US military or the UK government aren’t actually using you guys as drone pilots. The grim reapers definitely know their planes.

I wonder if you could clear the way for a helicopter assault on the island, if it was possible to hold it. Perhaps with human controlled helicopters, the objective would be to allow a set amount to land as the victory condition? Also, destroying ground infrastructure and vehicles (like bunkers and IFVs) should help with clearing it.
@@Danissimo321 Maybe. We have yet to see if Ukraine deploys those there, although I doubt a NASAMS system would last long against Russian aircraft, since they would likely be using standoff weapons. Worth a shot, though, as NASAMS have been tested on this channel recently to decent results.

Ukrainian SF have already crossed over into Russia and attacked. Rightly or wrongly is not my concern. But the first NATO gifted tank driven by a Ukrainian or not, that crosses into Russia. Will result in the use of tactical nuclear weapons on Ukraine and the supply lines in Poland and elsewhere. Then all bets are off.
Ukraine is simply not worth it.
Just let the ethnic Russians have self determination and be done with it.

Both the UK and Argentina forces used a version of the SLR and GPMG general purpose machine gun. Both 7.62mm ammo. Only difference was the UK SLR was semi automatic (1shot) the Argentina version had full automatic capability hence why the UK forces kept using them when captured.
The metric FN-FAL uses a different magazine than the imperial unit SLR/L1A1.

They weren’t oil rigs. They were Gas field survey platforms. Looking for oil and gas. Like all things in the war. It’s technically a war crime to intentionally and indiscriminately target civilian forces I infrastructure; with no military value. There were no pumps or refinement equipment on the barges.
It was an attack out of spite. Because the Ukrainians are incapable of attacking snake island or anywhere else of value.

I think you'll find Snake Island was downgraded again pretty quickly via a raid of drones taking out the the RADAR complexes followed by a couple of SU-27s.

The "blockade" and cutting of exports isn't up to Russia. Turkey and Russia both made an official joint statement that they could provide humanitarian corridor by sea to export the grain, providing that Ukraine demines the shore, that's the reason the grain cannot leave. Further, the exports of other goods are not blocked because Russia does not want to export, its because of the sanctions that Europe and the US imposed on Russian goods; oh how the turn tables..

Anyone know why do earlier SAM systems give a missile launch warning, but the SA-22 Pantsir does not? The SA-22 is still uses a radar command guidance missile, so why don't the RWR's pick that up?

Well, yes, Russian light AAs can drive aircraft away from troops even 40 km away, although an aircraft can evade missiles at that distance. In order to be guaranteed to hit the target, they simply let it get closer. It all depends on the tasks assigned to the crews. There were no troops in the middle of the sea to protect them.
The pantsir is 14million$ for export.
Just the production cost can be less than half of that.
Also, the Russians wouldnt fire those pantsirs until you reached attack range.
Especialy after firing a few pantsirs and see that they are missing....
Apart from that I dont think that the AAA of pantsir (its 30mm not 35mm) would miss that badly. If you check out some firing clips it has a decent spread covering a large area with bullets, something would score a hit.
Finaly, the marines on the island will certainly have some manpads with them.

I think it's important to explain more of what Cap was saying about class in the UK. What he said about UK being a class-based society is actually Cap mixing up class consciousness and class solidarity with the classes themselves. To break it down further, think about how nearly every society on the planet has the classes Cap mentioned: working class, middle class, and upper class (i.e. poor, middle, and wealthy). It's not correct to say the UK has a class based society as opposed to anywhere else, say, America for instance, where we obviously have a working class, middle class, and upper class. I believe what Cap actually was talking about (and give him a break people, these things aren't terribly obvious or easy to think about) was that in the UK people are much more AWARE of what class they belong to (this is class consciousness) and that people of one class tend to stick with people of the same class, follow similar behaviors, and group together to solve the problems their class faces (this is class solidarity). Because people in the UK group themselves in this way, they've ended up with a society with much more defined differences between the classes, and thus noticeably different behaviors when interacting with each other as Cap noted. Contrast this with America, where again we obviously have a working, middle, and upper class. However, due to decades of deliberate propaganda, hostile behavior, and manipulation (read: by the upper class) the working and middle classes have tricked into fighting each other or engaging in other self destructive behavior. This has not only ruined class consciousness (people are now unaware of what class even is and which class they belong to or are unwilling to admit it) but also class solidarity (the classes are too busy fighting amongst themselves to work together and solve problems). This has resulted in a very different society from the UK. Lines are blurred, social groups are fragmented, and you have much less obviously and clearly defined differences in behavior amongst defined groups. All this is to say that Cap is still hitting upon a very important point when talking about classes and society, just that he was missing a few key details. Anyway, great work Cap, the videos just keep getting better!
TL;DR Cap noticed UK classes are much more defined and obvious due to historical reasons, but missed that in most other places the rich have deliberately meddled with lower classes to pit poor people against each other and blur the lines for their own benefit. Eat the rich.

Why would the Pansir shoot all missiles if it didn't have a good radar track? This is just insane, if a plane like a flanker is within the engagement envelope it is dead but in this game the guys in charge of the systems must all be drunk as to shoot 40+ missiles and get no hits Also one flanker did a loop right over the island and three Pansir all missed with guns. These guns can track and destroy incoming missles

The issue with this video is 1) the Russians have not been able to beef up the defense on snake island because they keep getting taken out. 2) there was an air strike on snake island by Ukraine a few days ago using two su-27 doing a bombing run. The video is online.

If these missiles are accurately modeled and as long as the US/NATO jets have the intel that they're deployed, they're essentially worthless. The US has had decades to perfect their SEAD/DEAD training and methods and has surely reverse-engineered every Russian SAM ever made via clandestine acquisitions (Boris selling Russian secrets or picking up a SAM system from a dark alley somewhere). Combine this with poor Russian maintenance of their jets, overhyped stealth characteristics of the Su-57, and fewer training hours for their pilots, and I don't see Russia being a huge issue in any large-scale encounter (if they ever decided to attack NATO). That's not to say they should be underestimated officially. But as an observed and amateur analyst, this war has truly flipped the perceived threat of Russia as a world military power. Back in mid-February, they were seen as the largest threat to the US and NATO as a whole, and now that would clearly be China, followed by a second tier of countries on par with Russia such as Iran and Pakistan.
Putin truly gambled it all and simply lost.
PS: I typed this before the boys decided to get bored, be more aggressive, not listen to all warnings, lag out, and pull negative g's for two seconds resulting in a blackout. Hah.

In real life, all 21 Uragan rockets were intercepted, 13 out of 15 UAVs attacking the island were shot down, the Bayraktars were forced to retreat and struck the undefended oil platforms instead. And were then destroyed on the airfield they returned to.

Firstly, Ukraine mined its own ports for fear of naval landing. It cannot be used until demining ops are done.
Secondly, they can export their wheat through the ports of Poland and Baltic States (via Belarus).

I think they Would, because they see your flying group and your demonstration, and could be quite possibly using your techniques in later missions. Remember when you guys did that scrape run with the three different planes the 18, A10 & B1B lancers, You remember just a few days later
The US military responded with a 10 warthog pilots talking about how uneasy it would be to actually do a scraping run on a convoy like that. And right after that their convoy broke into three different groups. So you never know, you guys doing your simulation. You could have very well screwed up a mission.
What I don’t understand is why the US military or the UK government aren’t actually using you guys as drone pilots. The grim reapers definitely know their planes.

I wonder if you could clear the way for a helicopter assault on the island, if it was possible to hold it. Perhaps with human controlled helicopters, the objective would be to allow a set amount to land as the victory condition? Also, destroying ground infrastructure and vehicles (like bunkers and IFVs) should help with clearing it.
In this way GR should add Russian Air Force(Navy SU-30SM to be exact) because they also are taking part in defence of Snake Island
