  • Lee and Mike stress-test the MAXX-D dump trailer and overload it with gravel. See how it holds up.

Hay if it handles over weight that is where most people fail on guessing the weight and the trailer fails I see trailers with bent axles all day long

hi I’m looking in to getting in the junk removal business. I was thinking about the f250 or 350 with a trailer. If that falls in the cdl category which I have a license already does that mean u have to get dot also. Also what’s better diesel or gas?

Probably best to go with a 350. Can’t really advise you on what’s required for commercial and DOT as we aren’t hauling that much weight ever and the trailer is only intended for personal use for us. Diesel or gas comes down to personal preference, what your hauling, and how much you’re hauling. Diesel is going to last longer, generate more torque (haul more weight easier) but there are trade-offs like fuel prices and maintenance costs (although they need less maintenance), worse emissions, and a higher entry/purchase point.
