last month, after 8 months of waiting, my friend went to pick up his car, dealer told him there was a "market adjustment fee" of $3500 that he had to pay right away or they would not let him have the car, I went for coffee as he loudly argued with them, when I got back he got let out of the deal and had no car. Scammers these car dealerships
If you buy a car from a dealership you're basically throwing money down the drain. You're practically paying a very high premium for the "service" and features that let you only monitor your car meaning you end up spending more to get them fixed when they break. Buying a cheaper used car that's well maintained is the way

I have been following many US car dealer reviews such as Ben Hardy and such and they are talking about how the car bubble is bursting and dealers now have a lot of inventory. Most are predicting the US car market to drop in price in the spring and some are saying, although prices are still posted the same online, many discounts can now be had. My question is what are you seeing on this side of the border? What are your predictions?

Hi, thanks for the informative video. What we can do if the dealership scammed us? I bought a car that I exported to the EU and when the car arrived it was too rusted. On my questions, the dealership answered there is no rust :) It is a clear case of misrepresentation which breaches the legal warranty under the Sales of goods act law. I had a complain already directly to the dealership but, I know my next step is CAMVAP but it seems it will not work for me because the vehicle is older than 5 years, but still below 160k km. Any good moves I have in this case. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

As the new car market is still quite high and interest rates are quite high it's shifting demand into used cars-- keeping prices relatively high.
