Wow. What a large improvement from your last version. The first one felt so bare bones in comparison. Here, you've added some echoing effects that add to the sinister, mysterious atmosphere of the stage. That, and the guitars are better articulated and are less grating. Awesome!
Eh, i think he has a cool design. Besides, there are far worse maverick designs than him. Wire Sponge, Duff McWhalen, Ground Scaravich, Tornado Tonion, Ride Boarski, Gigabolt Man'o'war, etc, just to name a couple.

That's exactly what I think ! After X5, just a few were still great, like Infinity Mijinion, Splash Warfly, Burn Rooster, Earthrock Trilobyte... Also I preferred the naming system of the first game, and renamed some of the latest Mavericks in this logic, like Split Waterflea for Infinity Mijinion.

I don't really like how it feels slightly high-pitched compared to the old one. Clearly there's a high pitch of _bases_ added into this _acid_-like theme. Kinda _neutral_ on this overall.
Which games OPMs did you used in this cover and in Doppler Stage 2? I want to use simular guitars, but I haven't "dived" too much into Genesis/Mega Drive music.
