  • Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time we take a look at me correcting myself when a member of my community offered corrections. I'm a man of my word and this gives a chance to add upon a topic alongside just correcting it. Xbox is not making changes out of your benefits and you should be worried about them and other console manufacturers if you care about your consumer rights and future of gaming. Thanks for watching!

That's true but I respect it more when someone doesn't pull their punches and if that's what is required to call someone out, to really drive in the message, then it's a necessary evil, in the best way possible. Muta said it multiple times, he's a big boy. He can handle it.
Keep in mind, it was in good faith, it wasn't toxic or spiteful, he didn't tear Muta down in any way shape or form or attack his character as a whole. It's not hard to take off the tinted lens and see things as they are, you just gotta step outside and get some sun, go feel the warm breeze, the waves on the beach (if you're able to).
Lastly, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the person who made that post has some integrity and isn't just _emboldened_ on reddit.

    • @johnsober

@@koganeitounot pulling the punches isn't the same as being uncivil. Im giving the person the benefit of the doubt and saying they're mimicking muta and/or being dramatic on purpose (expecting that Muta would be cool with it)

This is by far best "apology video" I've seen. I find it strange that so many find it very hard to admit and talk about making mistakes. We all make mistakes every day and most of them are nothing to dwell on. However, once in a while we make mistakes that may be worth talking about, and if those mistakes affect other people in a negative way it is important to own the mistakes and to apologize. It makes you feel so much better and most people have no problem forgiving you making mistakes as long as you acknowledge it and ask for forgiveness.

There are a hundred reasons why I watch Muta and have for years. This is one of them.
Honestly W reddit post, and what Muta said is a very good point that many seemed to ignore when jumping to conclusions, and it's pretty much what I was gonna say. The part about how the dude wouldn't have posted if he wasn't a subscriber who enjoys Muta's content and went so far as to join the subreddit. To me, that's a REAL fan, with some personality and substance. Shit, if you can't respect that, is your respect worth much at all?
It's more meaningful imo when someone is real enough to not pull any punches. No growth comes from coddling, and I get fanboyism, but people putting their idol on a pedestal is just weird to me. Yes, praise the good they do, acknowledge their accomplishments and achievements. But never forget they are human too.
This is certainly why Muta said he is deserving of the disrespect/criticism and that he, a human being, made a mistake. And that yes it is a redeemable one.

I think this makes people scared to speak up and the quality of the content takes a nose dive because of this.

Simply for the fact that those who value physical over digital are more likely to pay more. See persona 4 golden limited run. Further, Sony releasing a separate disk drive for the new digital ps5 also suggests at least some commitment to physical.

Microsoft, hear me out. You train AI models with human inputs from accounts with good history and no reports. Every time you get a report for cheating, record the controller inputs and use that against your trained model. You can't keep people from modifying shit so you have to use signatures from the gameplay. They can get so many legit player samples that it should not be difficult to differentiate from the cheaters controller input. They can also install a certificate in the controller but that would be a countermeasure at best compared to what they can get from data analytics.

    • @Distracted_Productions
      @Distracted_Productions 10 месяцев назад +7

If you can make that happen, Microsoft would probably buy your IP for a few million. You can't train AI to detect cheating, it only works in CSGO because of spin botting for example. Valve has tried many times and has failed.

I was a leaderboard ranked player for Apex Legends on Xbox, I’ve played it since launch week and I quit playing it last year due to the vast amounts of cheating that went unpunished. It’s to the point on console where nearly every FPS game has been overrun with these cheaters. Xbox is 2 years too late, and they still haven’t even fixed the exploit that these cheating devices use.

As for Microsoft and Sony, I have never been a fanboy of either Console, but it has never been more clear that Microsoft is trying to create as much of a monopoly as they can muster with their seemingly infinite wealth. They never truly switched gears after the disaster that was Xbox One, they just wrapped it in different wrapping paper. Now trying to eliminate 3rd party accessories to make an extra buck.

I mean when you think about the code needed to be written to detect these devices it will probably be easier to detect things like keyboard input because of the way the input snaps from 0-1, whereas controller will probably be more of a Interpolation input... same with input for steering wheels... But the Aimbot/Cheating devices, detecting those I think will be much more device independent

Hey Muta, don't mean to jinx it or anything, but i love ya man. Youre one of the most caring and down to earth individuals Ive seen on this platform, which is why I think the person should have been respectful to ya. If they really are a "Muta enjoyer", they will know that not only do you never mean harm, but you also want to help everyone out there and have their backs, infroming them of different situations. Thus, making the person's attitude seem really butthurt in contrast despite the mistake being on your part. If anything, youre also one of the few people ive seen that researches the fuck out of anything they want to cover, which makes it annoying for me how people want to tear you apart the very few times you don't. Life happens, other shit happens, sometimes you dont have enough time etc. A ton of damn things can happen, and most importantly, you owned up to it. People nowadays are so sensitive about humour or memes that drop the N word or R word or whatever, when in reality, THIS is the shit you actually need to fix. Be respectful, and save your swears and anger for those who deserve it. We all know there are people out there who are way more deserving.
