  • Sunday Night reporter Tim Noonan meets a remarkable 11-year-old girl who is quite literally, one in a billion.
Brave Supatra “Nat” Sasuphan suffers from an incredibly rare genetic disorder called Ambras Syndrome - or Werewolf Syndrome - which results in her body being covered in hair, including all over her face. It was thought to be incurable, but scientists have made a breakthrough in discovering what triggers her excessive hair growth.
And they’re hopeful Supatra’s misfortune maybe the key to curing baldness for millions of men around the world.

That is because the bullies never look at themselves in the mirror or they look at themselves in the mirror for the wrong reasons. Humans with no arms, no legs & still can find ways to do things. She’s no different because her actions tell the whole story about being active.

That's amazing, and it makes me wonder what this little miracle is going to do/be/have someday considering how far 'ahead' of most of us she already is. Lol, right away, what? That scientist has been studying the condition the girl has for 20 years. All she said was she *thinks* there's a gene that's turned on or turned off. ....lol, we already know that's how conditions like these happen. Even if they isolate the gene (notice the scientist didn't say they have isolated (found) the specific gene?) they still have to be able to 'repair' the gene itself.

I’m going to guess that this a genetic expression of some ancient, recessed gene, from the period in our evolution when we were more like primates. So maybe it’s not a mutation, but it is indicative of our ancestral past. It’s interesting that the hair is lighter and finer appearing, than what her Asian parentage would indicate.

And lol they could even nair her face and pull it all at the root and do that like once a week.. its just probably not feasible because of price and where they live..
