Hi guys love the video. Got a question we’ve got a 12 hour layover in Vienna. Kinda expensive for a hotel for the short time. So we’re thinking of sleeping in the airport. Is it easy enough to find a comfortable spot. Or would you say it’s worth spending money and getting a hotel even if it for the short period. (We’re not rich lol)
Hey, thanks lol. Great question, and agreed, it’s not worth the added expense for a short time especially if you are trying to keep within your target of $30 per day 😀. Comfortable 😅 is not the word I’d use lol. I would say we got by for sure and we would do it again if we had a short layover again 💪👍😂. There are quite a few softer benches (like the ones we slept on) that you can find all over the airport around gate F and beyond, not sure if they changed the layout but if you ask the cleanup crew, they are pretty helpful. The best spot would be by the kids play area, it had gym mats on the floor so you could really get comfortable there and not worry about falling off the bench at night lol. We only found this section in the morning after we woke up 😢😅. Tips: Make sure to dress warm and have a jacket as it does get cold at night. If you have AirPods or noise cancelling headphones, I’d recommend using them so you don’t get disturbed by the noise. I hope that helps 😀. Enjoy your trip
