The Tokyo grand slam does function as a proto-world championship midway between the previous and the next edition, lee is on a great form and deserved to win
No surprise here. When you watch Koreans do randori, it's totally different than other countries. It's non-stop action, and they are less concerned with kumikata and a lot more with movement and attacking off any grip they can get, even your own. They are also incredibly good at using their own bodyweight and direction of movement instead of forcing throws, like in the West we are prone to doing.
BTW "Gauthier" you pronounce like "Gotyé" ---remember the giant 2011 hit "Somebody that I used to know"? That was by a singer who had (the Flemish version of) that first name, but lives in Australia so transliterated it for (as close as possible) correct English pronunciation. It's the french version of Walther (and Gotye's first name is Wouter).
The stamina this guy has is just unbelievable
I was sitting there just shocked of how dominant he was in grip fighting against Casse. Casse didn’t even have a single technique attempt
I am starting to fall in love with that guy. If he continues like that, it could be an Abe/Ono type of love.
He is a great judoka. Love to see him next year at the olympics. Cheers ...
이준환 선수 항상 응원합니다!!!
lee is that one guy who randomly smashes button in the game and still wins 😂😂. Jokes aside though great judoka.
Or a dude that doesn't keep track of his stamina and just goes berserk 😅

That’s how judo should be fought! MUCH respect to Lee!

Interesting. In Japan I think there’s a big focus on gripping and deception.
smart game strategy with creative attack, I wanna see him more often
Versatile judoka with good endurance
Exciting fighter.
He is unstoppable style, I really like his judo style🔥🔥🔥
Neverending attack!!
He is really strong. Until recently I thought Tato would become an Olympic champion, but I'm no longer so sure.
Last time they fought Grigalashvilli demolished him.
@@reymysterio13__50 They are still young. I'm looking forward to seeing how strong they will become before the Paris Olympic.
@@reymysterio13__50 Lee is 1:1 against Tato. 1 win and 1 loss each.
GOAT-IER (Gauthier)
💪 💪 💪
Nice!
Can we get a krapalek video up please?
I’ll include the highlights in tomorrow’s video
I was sucking wind from just watching that. Bro is relentless.

UN-relenting.
Did they give the score to the wrong guy the fight against the Canadian cause the Canadian has a score on the screen
Time stamp?
@@JudoHighlights2015 3:27 of the video. Lee scores waza-ari, but scoreboard shows Gauthier Drapeau getting waza-ari
yeah they changed that a few seconds later@@64wy4x8s
Where abe hifumi?
coming tomorrow
He looked really dominant today. Beating Vieru and Yondonperenlei that easily.
